**** 4 teens killed in south Fulton crash ID’d

Officials have identified four teenagers killed Monday in a crash between an SUV and tractor-trailer in south Fulton County.

The teens, identified late Tuesday by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office, were Isaiah Gregory, 15, Cameron Jones, 16, Ke’Ariy Lopez 14, and Octavious Rhodes, 16.

Isaiah, Ke’Ariy and Octavious were freshmen at Langston Hughes High School, Fulton County Schools spokeswoman Susan Hale said Wednesday morning. Cameron, she said, was new to the school, having transferred from another district about two months ago. He withdrew from Langston Hughes less than two weeks ago, Hale said.

A family member released the name and photo of the student who survived the crash.
Sophomore Lexus Todd was in the back of the Lincoln Navigator involved in Monday’s deadly collision, Lexus’ grandmother told Channel 2 Action News.

Her legs were crushed, and she suffered bleeding of the brain, the television station reported.
Fulton police said the preliminary investigation revealed that the driver of the SUV ran a red light, causing the collision.
The accident happened about 1:17 p.m. at Ga. 92 and Butner Road, Fulton police Cpl. Maureen Smith said.
Three of the teens were trapped inside the SUV and had to be extricated, Fulton fire Deputy Chief Charles Stubb said. The driver was ejected.
Lexus was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. She was still there Wednesday morning, Hale said.
“Lexus is expected to recover from her injuries,” Hale said.
The tractor-trailer driver was also taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
The school system has a counseling team at Langston Hughes to help students and staff, Hale said.
Channel 2 spoke to parent Anissa Williams about the mood inside the school.
“It’s very quiet,” she said. “I've never gone into any school where there's hundreds of children and heard the silence I heard today. And I can truly say it was birthed out of pain.”

****** Questions persist in wreck that killed four Fulton County students

As hundreds of students returned to Langston Hughes High School in South Fulton County on Tuesday in the wake of four classmates killed Monday in a vehicle collision, questions surrounded the circumstances that led to the teens being off campus.

Fulton County Schools spokeswoman Susan Hale said she cannot confirm whether the students were supposed to be on campus during the crash until all are positively identified.

Fulton County Schools officials said Tuesday they could not answer many questions related to the students until all were identified by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The Langston Hughes High students killed in the crash were identified late Tuesday by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office as Isaiah Gregory, 15, Cameron Jones, 16, Ke’Ariy Lopez 14, and Octavious Rhodes, 16.
"As you can imagine it's so sorrowful," said Shannon Flounnory, the district's executive director for safety and security. "Essentially, our students have lost members of their family."
Grief counselors were on hand as students returned to school the day after the fatal accident.
Isabel Ramirez, who said her daughter knew one of the teens who apparently died in the crash, said something must be done to avoid administrators and school police from turning a blind eye as students freely enter and exit the campus, tucked away from Hwy 92 on Hall Road in Fairburn.
"They let the students come and go ... as if it's WalMart," she said.
***** 4 Langston Hughes High students killed in tractor-trailer crash
Four teenagers were killed and another was injured Monday in a crash involving a tractor-trailer and a Lincoln Navigator, Fulton County police said.
The teens were confirmed to be students at Langston Hughes High School, Channel 2 Action News reported.
The school system will have a counseling team at Langston Hughes on Tuesday to help students and staff, Fulton County Schools spokeswoman Susan Hale said.
It was also a bad day for Cobb County schools as two Lassiter High teenagers died in an afternoon crash.
The crash happened around 1:17 p.m. at Campbellton Fairburn and Butner roads in south Fulton, police said.
Five teens, four boys and a girl, were inside the SUV when the crash happened, Fulton police Cpl. Maureen Smith said. Three of the teens were trapped inside the car and had to be extricated, Fulton fire Deputy Chief Charles Stubb said. The driver was ejected.
The girl, who was pulled from the back seat, was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital with injuries. Her condition was not released.
The tractor-trailer driver was also taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
Fulton police said the preliminary investigation revealed that the driver of the SUV ran a red light, causing the collision.
Police did not release the identities of the teens pending notification of next of kin.
No other details were released.

4 Black Chicago Youth Torture Disabled White Man.

Obama wants to create a RACE WAR for Trump as he leaves office.

***** Anti-White Hate Crime? Video Shows Black Teens Torturing Mentally Disabled White Kid
Be skeptical that Donald Trump's election has unleashed a wave of hate crimes, period.

Chicago police have arrested four teenagers for assaulting a mentally disabled young man with a knife, tying him up, and subjecting him to other abuses—all of which were livestreamed on Facebook.

The alleged perpetrators are black teens, and the victim is white. The police found the victim wandering Chicago's West Side on Tuesday. He was "in an obvious state of trauma," according to CBS Local. Authorities eventually calmed him down and identified him as the subject of the video.

The video itself lasts for 30 minutes, during which the victim—who is tied up, with his mouth taped shut—is abused in numerous ways. The perpetrators cut his hair with a knife until his head bleeds, flick cigarette ashes on him, and threaten him. They occasionally utter things like, "Fuck Donald Trump, fuck white people." At one point, the video recorder—a black woman whose name is easily identifiable—suggests putting the victim out of his misery.

It's these statements that have some segments of Twitter—including and especially the alt-right—wondering whether the incident counts as a hate crime. As I write this, #BLMKidnapping is trending on Facebook, in reference to the attack. Needless to say, that's hyperbole, based on the facts as they are currently known.

BuzzFeed News reported police were looking into the hate crime angle, but couldn't speculate at the moment:

Johnson said police were investigating if the incident was a hate crime, but so far he said there was no indication it was motivated by politics or race.

"Some of this is just stupidity," he said. "People just ranting about something they think might make a headline. We'll keep investigating, and we'll let the facts guide us on how this concludes."

Maybe the perpetrators have malice toward white people in their hearts. Maybe they're just deeply immature people who think hurting someone is funny. Maybe they're under the influence of drugs (someone is definitely smoking something). It really shouldn't matter: what they've done is reprehensible, regardless of the motive.

That's the problem with making hate crime determinations—in many cases, determining the precise factors that led a bad person to do something awful is no easy task. For example, BuzzFeed took a second look at 28 of the alleged "hateful incidents" the news outlet investigated in the wake of Trump's election. Reporters found few outright hoaxes, but the motives remained questionable in roughly a third of stories:

Other incidents happened as described — and were reasonably initially perceived as political — but the stories are a bit more complicated. A Southern Illinois University student who appeared in front of a Confederate flag in what appeared to be blackface later said it was a cosmetic mask, and the university said "we sometimes find that reports of incidents made via social media and elsewhere are not fully supported by the facts." The man arrested for scrawling "Black Bitch" on a Philadelphia woman's car is black.

Meanwhile the hoaxes, which were at the center of the conversation in late December, didn't surprise academics and journalists who study extremism and hate crimes.

"People will do things when there's a lot of attention paid to it, and hate crimes aren't any different. What I find interesting is how that is being politicized now," Brian Levin, a criminology professor and director of the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism at California State University, San Bernardino, told BuzzFeed News. Hate crimes, he said, spike after a catalytic event, and in that "cycle of publicity and retaliatory violence" there will be false reports.

As our catalog shows, there's little evidence of a wave of hoaxes. There has also not been the wave of violent assaults that some anticipated. (The FBI did disrupt one murderous terror plot just before the election, in which Kansas militia members sought to bomb Somali refugees.)

We ought to be a little skeptical of the Southern Poverty Law Center's contention that Trump's election has unleashed a wave of race-based harassment and hatred. But we should also be a little skeptical that a bunch of teenagers bullying a white man has anything, really, to do with Donald Trump. This was an inexcusable act of violence, no matter what was going through the perpetrators' heads.

ST. LOUIS RAMS PLAYERS HONOR MIKE BROWN & SUPPORT FERGUSON PROTESTERS IN SOLIDARITY BEFORE SUNDAY'S GAME ("HANDS UP, DON'T SHOOT")

ST. LOUIS RAMS PLAYERS HONOR MIKE BROWN & SUPPORT FERGUSON PROTESTERS IN SOLIDARITY BEFORE SUNDAY'S GAME:

"HANDS UP.........DON'T SHOOT"

Article Source: NBC New York; Youtube

ARTICLE: "Rams Raise Arms In Apparent Show Of Solidarity For Ferguson Protesters"

Five St. Louis Rams players stood with their arms raised in an apparent show of solidarity for Ferguson protesters before trotting onto the field for pregame introductions.

A Rams spokesman said Sunday the team was not aware the gesture had been planned before the game against Oakland.

Wide receivers Tavon Austin and Kenny Britt came out together first, with the move obscured by a smoke machine in the upper reaches of the Edward Jones Dome. Stedman Bailey, Jared Cook and Chris Givens — all of whom are black — then came out and stood together with arms raised.

After Tre Mason scored on an 8-yard run to make it 45-0 in the fourth quarter, he and Britt raised their hands together.

There have been riots, looting and buildings burned in Ferguson since a grand jury declined Monday to indict police officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of unarmed Michael Brown in August.

Across the street from the stadium, about 75 protesters gathered in the second half as about 30 police wearing riot gear watched from a safe distance. Protesters chanted "Hands up, don't shoot!" ''No Justice, No Football!" ''This is what Democracy looks like," and "We're here for Mike Brown."

The Rams had additional security measures in place for the game, including armed personnel from the National Guard. The team has wanded fans outside entrances all season.

On another front inside the stadium, a group of fans formed letters spelling "Keep the Rams in St. Louis" in seats in the north end zone.

UNITED NATIONS HARSHLY CONDEMNS UNITED STATES FOR POLICE BRUTALITY AGAINST BLACK PEOPLE (DEMANDS U.S. GOV'T IMMEDIATELY ADDRESSES ISSUE)

UNITED NATIONS TORTURE COMMITTEE HARSHLY CONDEMNS UNITED STATES FOR RACISM......POLICE BRUTALITY..........AND EXCESSIVE FORCE:

U.N. OFFICIALS DELIVER 16-PAGE EMBARRASSING, SCATHING REPORT REVEALING HOW HORRIBLY POLICE MISTREAT BLACK YOUTH & BLACK INMATES IN THE UNITED STATES.

U.N. DEMANDS THAT U.S. FEDERAL GOV'T OFFICIALS INDEPENDENTLY INVESTIGATE & ADDRESS THESE ISSUES IMMEDIATELY.

Article Sources: International Business Times; TIME; CNN; PressTV; Youtube

ARTICLE: "Ferguson Shooting: UN Torture Committee Condemns US For Excessive Force In Law Enforcement"

The United Nations on Friday denounced the U.S. for reportedly violating an international treaty against torture, including several instances of police shootings of unarmed black youth.

In a 16-page review of the U.S.’ track record on torture since 2006, the U.N. took aim at what it said were “numerous reports” of police brutality against minorities as well as distressing conditions in some U.S. prisons, according to Reuters.

The document, which does not mention the recent events in Ferguson, Missouri, specifically, came in the wake of a grand jury’s decision not to indict a Ferguson police officer in the August shooting of unarmed black teenager Michael Brown.

The U.N. Committee against Torture cited several examples of "excessive use of force by law enforcement officials, in particular against persons belonging to certain racial and ethnic group.”

The report, the U.N.’s first on the U.S. since 2006, condemned the extensive use of Tasers against people resisting arrest, citing two recent cases in Florida and Chicago that turned deadly.

In response to the grand jury’s decision not to indict Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson for Brown’s death, committee member Alessio Bruni said the U.N. "has to respect the decision" of the jury, according to CNN.

The comments were made Friday at a news conference in Geneva, Switzerland, where Brown’s parents testified in front of the committeeearlier this month.

The committee’s report focused mainly on the U.S.’ treatment of prisoners at Guantanamo Bay, however its allegations broadened to include other alleged abuses, such as the “prolonged suffering” endured by victims of prison rape and death row inmates who undergo so-called botched executions, as well as the excessive use of solitary confinement.

Wilson gunned down 18-year-old Michael Brown in August.

The shooting sparked national protests over police brutality and the nature of policing in the U.S. Wilson will not stand trial for the shooting after a grand jury found that he had acted in self-defense, a decision that was met with riots across the country.

BLACK CHURCHES & OLDER BLACK LEADERS TO BLAME FOR FERGUSON'S CIVIL UNREST (SHUT THE DOORS OR RESIGN)

FERGUSON'S BLACK CHURCHES & OLDER BLACK COMMUNITY LEADERS ARE TO BLAME FOR CIVIL UNREST IN THAT REGION:

MANY INEFFECTIVE BLACK CHURCHES NEED TO SHUT THEIR DOORS.

MANY INEFFECTIVE OLDER BLACK LEADERS NEED TO SIT DOWN.

From early August 2014 when MICHAEL BROWN was first Murdered by DARREN WILSON until Monday Nov 24, 2014 when Ferguson's extremely Biased Prosecutor BOB MCCULLOCH publicly announced the Grand Jury's Decision, I have been Praying and thinking non-stop about Ferguson's Hurting, Oppressed, Rejected BLACK Youth.

Especially Ferguson's Young BLACK Men and Boys.

After much research and Prayer it appears the Problems which plague Ferguson leading to a Nationwide Protest against RACIAL INJUSTICE, those problems lie at the feet of Ferguson's Older BLACK Leaders and Ferguson's BLACK Churches.

Many of Ferguson's Older BLACK Leaders (including Congressman EMANUEL CLEAVER) have either laid aside or forgotten their Mission and Purpose for existing as LEADERS.

****FYI: Notice I am mainly referring to Older BLACK Leaders because they NEVER want to relinquish their Positions to make room for New Young Blood.
So in essence Older BLACK Leaders are more Responsible for Ferguson's recent mayhem!****

Dr MARTIN LUTHER KING JR was a YOUNG BLACK Man with Fresh Ideas, NOT an Older BLACK Man entrenched in Tradition and FEAR.

The purpose of LEADERSHIP is to LEAD and Selflessly SERVE other Human Beings.

NOT to become Complacent......Serve YOURSELF and Protect Your OWN Interests!

But to LEAD and Selflessly SERVE other Human Beings!

In addition, the Historic role of BLACK Churches in America was to Effectively LEAD local BLACK Communities.

If a BLACK Church is NO longer Effectively LEADING a BLACK Community, that Church needs to SHUT it's Doors!

Don't remain Open simply for the Business of Raising MONEY.

SHUT The Doors!

With the Election of America's first real BLACK President, many BLACK Pastors and Older BLACK Community Leaders became engrossed in POLITICS.

Not People but POLITICS!

BLACK People in their Communities took a back seat to POLITICS, while those BLACK Pastors & Older BLACK Community Leaders helped Pres OBAMA be Elected in 2008, and to be Re-elected in 2012.

The "Sheep" (BLACK Youth) were left to LEAD themselves.

Those Youth badly in need of Mentoring, Academic Assistance and Summer JOBS when left alone found other ways to "LEAD" themselves.

Let me remind you that most of those BLACK Male Youth came from Single Parent homes (Mothers) which offered little Guidance.

Thus most of them when left alone with NOTHING to do, especially during Summer Vacation after School was dismissed, engaged in Illegal Activity.

So where were Ferguson's BLACK Pastors and Older BLACK Community Leaders while these BLACK Male Youth were left unattended and engaged in Illegal Activity??

Ferguson's BLACK Pastors and Older BLACK Community Leaders were off somewhere Volunteering their time on Pres OBAMA'S Election & Re-election Campaigns.

Ferguson's BLACK Pastors and Older BLACK Community Leaders were also somewhere pushing the AFFORDABLE CARE ACT in the faces of BLACK Voters.

None of those BLACK Pastors and Older BLACK Leaders were pushing for JOBS or Academic After School Programs for the BLACK Male Youth in their Communities.

Instead those same BLACK Pastors and Older BLACK Community Leaders were too busy trying to maintain their positions of #Leadership.

Instead those same BLACK Pastors and Older BLACK Community Leaders were too busy fighting against Young BLACK Leaders-to-be.

~~For example:

MALIK SHABAZZ (Former Leader of the New BLACK Panther Party)

Ferguson's BLACK Pastors and Older BLACK Community Leaders claim to love GOD and the Lord JESUS CHRIST, but many of them Hate MALIK SHABAZZ.

How can We say "We Love GOD or Love JESUS CHRIST" but Hate or Despise another Human Being??

Even if they did Not think MALIK SHABAZZ'S Style of LEADERSHIP was a good fit for Ferguson, they could have still Included him in their efforts to LEAD Ferguson's BLACK Community.

By the same premise, when GOD sends Hurting BLACK Youth to a local BLACK Church, don't JUDGE them by their Appearance.

Accept them with LOVING Open Arms!

It's either the GANGS or the CHURCH who will Accept Hurting BLACK Youth.

Which do you want it to be??

~~As it relates to Younger LEADERSHIP vs Older LEADERSHIP:

In most cases as Human Beings AGE we have a Natural tendency to become Complacent.......Stubborn......Stuck in our ways.......Narrow-minded......more Judgmental........Lazy........less Creative......less Optimistic.......Fearful.........less Effective......Resistant to CHANGE and very Selfish.

Such negative attributes which unfortunately frequently comes with AGE, is exactly why I have Strongly recommended AL SHARPTON Not be allowed to LEAD this New Movement sparked to address RACIAL INJUSTICE in 21st Century America.

On the other hand YOUTH brings with it a fresh breath of air!

~~For example: Most Younger People are very Creative.........Optimistic.......Energetic.....Giving......Bold.....less Judgmental.........Fearless.......Objective........Benevolent.......more Effective.......Open to CHANGE.

Thus it appears highly likely that Compassionate BLACK Pastors and Older BLACK Community Leaders would step aside, allowing Younger Leaders to fill the shoes of LEADERSHIP needed to reach a new Generation right??

WRONG!

Those Selfish, Complacent BLACK Pastors and Older BLACK Community Leaders forgot where they came from.

Those Selfish, Complacent BLACK Pastors and Older BLACK used their resources to Block Opportunities for Younger Leaders to step up.

In order to maintain their seats of POLITICAL POWER those Selfish, Insecure, Complacent BLACK Pastors & Older BLACK Community Leaders joined Forces with the same RACIST People responsible for keeping local BLACK Communities OPPRESSED for decades.

It was this Self-Serving style of BLACK LEADERSHIP which created a festering vacuum of ANGER and REJECTION among the BLACK Youth in #Ferguson, eventually boiling over until there was a Combustible Explosion last Summer that rocked the World!

~~MICHAEL BROWN vs DARREN WILSON

If the definition of Insanity is doing the same thing repetitively but expecting different results, than why are Ferguson's BLACK Churches and Older BLACK Community Leaders constantly rejecting help from YOUNGER Leaders??

It is time, high time for Ferguson's BLACK Pastors & Ferguson's Older BLACK Community Leaders to be more INCLUSIVE of Younger Leaders and more Open to CHANGE, or STEP ASIDE!

Better yet just STEP ASIDE and allow the Younger Generation to LEAD!

If Ferguson's BLACK Pastors and Older BLACK Community Leaders REFUSE to step aside and Include YOUNGER Leaders into REBUILDING a better, more Progressive Ferguson..........

Those BLACK Pastors should CLOSE their Church Doors and those OLDER BLACK Community Leaders should RESIGN!

I repeat.

It's No longer about POLITICS, in fact it NEVER should have been about POLITICS!

Now its about helping Hurting PEOPLE.

Especially helping Hurting BLACK Youth!

I don't care if it is Younger WHITE Leaders working to REBUILD FERGUSON.

Or Younger BLACK Leaders.

But it has to be YOUNGER LEADERSHIP period!

Dr MARTIN LUTHER KING JR was a YOUNG BLACK Man with fresh Ideas, NOT an Older BLACK Man entrenched in Tradition and FEAR!

I hope and Pray my words don't fall upon deaf ears or blind eyes.

DON LEMON AND OTHER ELITE BLACKS CRITICIZE YOUNG OPPRESSED FERGUSON PROTESTERS (FANNIE LOU HAMER WAS "SICK & TIRED")

#Ferguson

WHY IS DON LEMON AND ALL OTHER SHELTERED, ELITE BLACK PEOPLE JUDGING THE HURTING, OPPRESSED FERGUSON PROTESTERS??

HOW DOES A BRUISE ON DARREN WILSON'S FACE COMPARE TO 8 BULLETS FIRED INTO MICHAEL BROWN'S UNARMED BODY??

DON'T JUDGE......COME TO FERGUSON & CHARLOTTE AS REGULAR PEOPLE AND SEE HOW YOU WILL BE TREATED BY DECADES OLD INSTITUTIONALIZED RACISM.

WE ARE TIRED........IT'S TIME FOR NATIONWIDE ECONOMIC BOYCOTTS & PEACEFUL PROTESTS UNTIL REAL CHANGE OCCURS.

Once again Elite, BLACK People such as DON LEMON........JUAN WILLIAMS......RAFFI WILLIAMS.........TAMRON HALL are Judging the Young BLACK OPPRESSED Protesters and CIVIL UNREST in FERGUSON and other Cities around the Nation Monday night.

DON LEMON........JUAN WILLIAMS.......RAFFI WILLIAMS.......and TAMRON HALL all live SHELTERED lives.

All of them are PUBLIC FIGURES!

Don't judge the Civil Unrest in FERGUSON and other U.S. Cities.

Leave your ELITE, SHELTERED Lives at the door!

Roll up your Sleeves, Come to FERGUSON and CHARLOTTE as Regular BLACK People and Experience everyday life as Regular BLACK People!

There were 12 Jurors who allowed another WHITE Man who Maliciously MURDERED an Unarmed BLACK Boy, to walk away FREE with a Smile on his Face.

Please Explain to Me how a common BRUISE on DARREN WILSON'S face compares to 8 or more BULLETS being Fired into MICHAEL BROWN'S Unarmed Body??

So you say that RIOTING and BURNING BUSINESSES Kills JOBS in the local Community right??

As for the RIOTING in FERGUSON, those Burned BUSINESSES are Not HIRING the BLACK People who live in the local Community anyway!

I Don't Advocate VIOLENCE or RIOTING, but I also Don't Advocate INSTITUTIONALIZED RACISM.

You want BLACK Money but You don't want to RESPECT or HIRE Qualified BLACK People from the local Community.

You just want to throw BLACK People in PRISON in order to procure FEDERAL $$$$ for housing more Inmates!

You want to Force a BLACK Woman who was a Victim of DOMESTIC VIOLENCE to accept 3 FELONY Charges in order to remain FREE, just for Firing 3 Warning Shots into the Ceiling of her Garage after she was Threatened again!

As BLACK Female Activist FANNIE LOU HAMER once said:

"WE ARE SICK AND TIRED OF BEING SICK AND TIRED."

It's time to Enforce Nationwide ECONOMIC BOYCOTTS and PEACEFUL PROTESTS.

WE ARE TIRED OF VOTING WITH NO RESULTS AND FALSE PROMISES AS IF WE ARE STUPID.

Contrary to what BILL O'REILLY says, BLACK Voters are Not STUPID!

BLACK Voters supported a BLACK Man at the Polls because we wanted to give a Qualified BLACK Man the Opportunity to become President of the UNITED STATES, just as We supported WHITE Presidents in the past.

If the tables were turned in FERGUSON, MICHAEL BROWN would be facing Life in PRISON or facing the DEATH PENALTY instead of somewhere Celebrating.

DARREN WILLIAM recently Married and is somewhere Celebrating.

MICHAEL BROWN lies in a Cold GRAVE.

So please Don't JUDGE the Civil UNREST in FERGUSON and other U.S. Cities.

I repeat.

DON LEMON.......JUAN WILLIAMS.......RAFFI WILLIAMS......TAMRON HALL all live SHELTERED Lives.

I invite all of these ELITE, SHELTERED BLACK People to come to CHARLOTTE or FERGUSON as a Regular BLACK People and see how they will be Treated by INSTITUTIONALIZED RACISM.

I'm just saying.

NORTH CAROLINA NAACP WANTS FEDERAL INVESTIGATION INTO BLACK TEEN'S HANGING DEATH:

The North Carolina chapter of the NAACP is calling for a Federal investigation into what it believes is the "race-based homicide" of a black 17-year-old Bladen County boy who was found hanging from a swing set this past summer.

Investigators ruled the death of Lennon Lee Lacy – found Aug. 29 on a playground in Bladenboro – a suicide, but Lacy's family and the NAACP are questioning the police investigation, saying detectives rushed to reach a conclusion and did not fully investigate all possible leads.

"What has concerned the family and us is the local authorities' seemingly impatient desire for easy answers," state NAACP President Rev. William Barber told reporters at a news conference in Raleigh Tuesday. "Questions remain."

Barber said he met with U.S. Attorney Thomas Walker for nearly 90 minutes Tuesday and that Walker said he will "thoroughly review" the request to determine if and how the U.S. Department of Justice should be involved.

Bladen County's district attorney, Jon David, defended the local investigation in a statement Tuesday afternoon, saying a preliminary review found that "it appears to be detailed, thorough and professional" and that both the State Bureau of Investigation and Bladenboro Police Department "have my office's absolute confidence."

"My office and the investigating agencies have been, and remain, receptive to reviewing any and all information that would shed light on the circumstances surrounding Lacy's death," David said.

"In a show of transparency, we welcome federal investigators to review our file and join in the investigation if they so choose," David added. "At this point, my office has not been presented with any evidence to suggest that there was any foul play in the death of Lennon Lacy."

Lacy's mother, Claudia Lacy, spoke at Tuesday's news conference, saying that she's willing to accept the findings that her son killed himself but only after a more comprehensive investigation addresses other leads and information that haven't been thoroughly reviewed.

"God has prepared me for all things," she said. "With His grace and mercy, I've come this far. He's not going to leave me now."

Barber declined to comment on what information an independent review of the case has turned up but said his organization could release more details this week.

"There are facts that we can't talk about at this press conference," he said. "This is serious business, and we've asked the federal government and the FBI to come in."

Claudia Lacy said that her son, a junior and varsity football player at West Bladen High School, had goals for the future and had been excited about his first game of the school year after being sidelined for a season to work on his grades.

He had been grieving the recent passing of an uncle, and Claudia Lacy told investigators that he had been depressed.

But Barber said it was a word that she had used to describe his mourning and that Lennon Lacy had no history of mental illness and had never been diagnosed as clinically depressed.

The boy was found around 7:30 a.m. on the Friday of his first football game, wearing shoes that were two sizes too small. By the time his mother arrived, Barber said, her son's body had been placed in a body bag, and police had released the scene – a move also being criticized by the Lacy family's attorney, Heather Rattelade.

Guidelines and protocols on how to handle a possible crime scene weren't followed correctly in the case, Rattelade said.

"By 3:09 p.m., the lead investigator notified the medical examiner that he believed it was a Suicide," she said.

George Zimmerman Is FREE On $1 Million Bond With Tighter No-Flee Restrictions! He Will Face Justice!

Today George "Cold-Blooded Murderer" Zimmerman posted his $1 Million Bail by paying $100,000.

Considering his Lying Under Oath & attempts to Flee the Country, Zimmerman should NOT have been allowed to have a Bond.

If a BLACK Man lies to the Court Under Oath they throw him Under the Jail with NO Bail!

But if a Half-White Man lies to the Court under Oath, he is still given a Bond and allowed Freedom.

Sure the Judge placed him on tighter Restrictions, however Zimmerman is still FREE while Trayvon Martin lies in a Cold Grave, Murdered by a RACIST, Unofficial Neighborhood Watch person at the age of 17, for simply walking home from a local store with a bag of Skittles and an Iced Tea Beverage.

Zimmerman released after posting bail

George Zimmerman was released from jail on Friday, one day after a Florida judge set bail at $1 million.

Judge Kenneth R. Lester Jr. found that Zimmerman's deceit over cash holdings at his first bond hearing in April was not enough to hold him without bail.

However, he also said he believed the suspect may have been planning to flee the country to avoid prosecution in the killing of Florida teen Trayvon Martin.

Zimmerman had to post 10% of the $1 million -- or $100,000 -- to meet the requirement for release.

He wore a white dress shirt under a gray suit as he walked out of jail and into a waiting SUV.

"We are confident and comfortable that George will be safe," Zimmerman's attorney, Don West, told CNN outside the jail following his client's release.

"We were hoping the bail would be considerably less than what it was. And we will take the judge's comments to heart, but we don't necessarily agree with them and we will decide what is next," he said.

An initial bond of $150,000 was revoked last month after Lester learned that Zimmerman and his wife, Shellie, had failed to disclose more than $150,000 in donations from the public.

The judge's order Thursday said that the new $1 million bail order was not a punishment but an amount that assured the court that Zimmerman would not abscond.

In his ruling, Lester wrote about the first bond hearing and noted an undisclosed second passport kept in Zimmerman's safe deposit box.

"Notably, together with the passport, the money only had to be hidden for a short time for him to leave the country if the defendant made a quick decision to flee," the judge said. "It is entirely reasonable for this court to find that,

but for the requirement that he be placed on electronic monitoring, the defendant and his wife would have fled the United States with at least $130,000 of other people's money."

Lester wrote the defendant's plans to flee were "thwarted."

Since news of the judge's decision broke, roughly $20,000 was donated to Zimmerman's defense, according to a website set up to raise funds.

Zimmerman, 28, is charged with second-degree murder in Martin's February 26 shooting death. Under Florida law, second-degree murder is a bondable offense.

Speaking to reporters in New Orleans before Zimmerman left jail, Martin's parents said they are struggling, but have faith all will end well.

"As we said from the beginning, we have strong faith in God," said Tracy Martin, Trayvon's father. "And we'll continue to lean on God and ask Him to give us the strength and continue to give us the faith in the justice system, and justice will prevail."

Lester imposed new restrictions on Zimmerman that he did not face when he was out on bond the first time.

Zimmerman must report to officials every two days, cannot open or maintain a bank account and cannot be on the property of an airport. He also cannot apply for or obtain a passport.

He must abide by a curfew from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., and like before, will be monitored electronically.

Zimmerman, a Sanford neighborhood watch volunteer, acknowledged fatally shooting the unarmed Martin after calling police to report a suspicious person. Zimmerman said Martin attacked him.

Raleigh, NC Discrimination Rally Fosters Dialogue About Racism

Nearly 100 people rallied in downtown Raleigh Saturday in support of a man who claims he was physically removed from a bar earlier this month because he is black.

Jonathan Wall, 21, filed a complaint last week against Todd Chriscoe, who manages The Downtown Sports Bar and Grill on Glenwood Avenue. In the paperwork, Wall accused Chriscoe, 47, of simple assault and ethnic intimidation. Wall says Chriscoe grabbed his wrists, put them behind his neck, forced him out of the bar and pushed him to the ground.

William Potter, an attorney for the bar, denies that Wall was mistreated and says he was kicked out because he's not a member. Potter said race had nothing to do with it.

Wall's supporters aren't convinced.

"I wish people were more evolved and we had gotten past things like this, but it's important to remember it still happens everywhere," said Clark Goldentyer, who attended Saturday's rally in Moore Square.

Organizers of the rally, called "Above It All: A Raleigh Stand Against Social Injustice," said they are trying to call attention to discrimination at several bars and nightclubs. They say people can rise above the issues by talking to each other about race and racism.

"This is, you know, an inter-generational dialogue," said organizer Marjorie Fields-Harris. "I think it's just a step in a good journey."

Rachel Powell said it's important for people of all racial backgrounds to stand in solidarity against discrimination.

"Even if we're not people of color, we very much sympathize," she said. "We stand against it as well, and I think that it's important for the community to know that they have support."

Wall and Chriscoe are scheduled to appear before a Wake County judge on July 23. Chriscoe said earlier this week that he looks forward to telling his side of the story in court.

Patrons allege discrimination at North Carolina sports bar

A sports bar in Raleigh, North Carolina has sparked outrage for repeatedly denying entry to black customers, with no apparent consequence from local law enforcement.

The most recent instance occurred June 16th when Jonathan Wall, a 21-year-old Harvard-bound college student from Raleigh, North Carolina, arrived at Downtown Sports Bar and Grill.

Wall and his two friends were first hassled when the bouncer told the group they needed a membership to enter the bar.

The bar is known to be a causal sports bar so the assertion that it was members-only club was the first indication that there might be a problem. According to Wall, when the bouncer noticed a police officer outside the bar, he allowed Wall and his friends to enter the bar.

Once inside the bar Wall was confronted by a hostile employee, who he later learned was the bar’s manager, and was identified as Todd Chriscoe.

As Wall tells the story, Chriscoe approached him in a rather aggressive manner and demanded that he buy a drink immediately or leave the bar.

Wall was waiting for his friends to return form the bathroom and told Chriscoe he would be drinking but was only waiting for his friend to return.

After a few moments, when Wall’s friend hadn’t returned form the bathroom, Chriscoe allegedly attacked Wall and began to physically remove him from the bar.

“After staring me down for about 30 seconds, he walked back over and said “Are you going to buy a drink, or are you going to leave?”

I replied, “As soon as my friend comes from the bathroom.” Before I cold utter another word, he grabbed my right wrist and my left arm and threw them behind my head in an effort to constrain me, although I was speaking to him [in a] calm and non-aggressive tone and didn’t once even gesture.

He then used excessive force to push me through the crowd and out of the club while I was still in this “headlock” of sorts, before pushing me out of the front door. As soon as he grabbed me, I let my body go limp because with the degree of force he was already using, I didn’t want him to think I was trying to fight back.

I accepted that he was on an ego-trip, and let him guide me through the club in this position before pushing me out.”

Once outside, Wall found a police officer standing outside and tried to explain what had just occurred. The officer spoke with both parties, but encouraged Wall to overlook the episode, telling him she knew something like this would happen once he entered the bar.

“She explained that this happens all the time, and that if she approached the bartender about it, he’d have witnesses that would corroborate whatever story he made up as to why he kicked me out in such an aggressive manner.

She then explained that my options were limited because if she proceeded with getting statements from both of us and conducted an investigation, the end result could be worse for me: either it would get dismissed in court, or we would both be charged with what is the equivalent of “fighting” and both have a misdemeanor.

She said “He probably has a few charges already, but you’re young with a bright future ahead of you, and you don’t want that on your record.”

What disturbed Wall most was the officer’s casual response to the incident and “that she seemed to assume the worst case scenario in every possible solution to my encounter. She kept talking about how much paper work would be involved,” Wall explained to friends after the encounter.

After Wall’s former professor at the North Carolina Central University, Philip Christman, posted Wall’s account of the incident on his blog yesterday, other African-Americans began to post comments on Christaman’s blog relaying similar experiences at Downtown Sports Bar and Grill in Raleigh.

There are now more than a dozen posts telling tales of racial discrimination at the same bar and others in the area.

Now, Wall and others have embarked on an social media campaign to have the bar shut down and are demanding action on the part of local law enforcement and the City of Raleigh.

The incident has spawned a Facebook page, ‘Stop Race Discrimination at Downtown Sports bar NOW’ and has over 3000 followers.

On the page, followers tell tales of similar experiences, share legal advice and seem to be building a ground swell of support that may result in serious consequences for the bar and law enforcement for allegedly overlooking these accounts of racial discrimination.

Zimmerman Back in Police Custody

Six weeks after being released from jail on bond, George Zimmerman, who is facing second-degree murder charges in the death of Trayvon Martin, is back in police custody.

Mr. Zimmerman turned himself in to the authorities in Sanford, Fla., early Sunday afternoon, according to a blog post from his lawyer, Mark O'Mara. Judge Kenneth R. Lester Jr. had revoked his bond two days earlier and gave him 48 hours to surrender to the authorities.

In revoking the bond, Judge Lester found that Mr. Zimmerman had misled the court about his finances, with the help of his wife, during his April bond hearing.

At the time, Mr. Zimmerman had access to as much as $135,000 from a PayPal account that collected donations through a legal defense Web site. But Mr. Zimmerman’s wife testified that she was unaware of how much money had been collected through the site. Because it was believed that Mr. Zimmerman had no money, he was released on a low bond of $150,000.

As evidence, prosecutors presented transcripts at Friday’s hearing of telephone conversations between Mr. Zimmerman, who was in jail, and his wife. They said the two were discussing in code what to do with the money.

Mr. O’Mara said that he was unaware of the money at the time of the first hearing and that he planned to ask for another bond hearing so that Mr. Zimmerman could explain himself to the judge.

“Judge Lester runs a very tight courtroom, as well he should,” Mr. O’Mara said after the ruling. “He didn’t believe they were being as straightforward and honest as he wanted them to.”

The death of Mr. Martin, 17, on Feb. 26 created a national controversy after the police declined to arrest Mr. Zimmerman for over a month, raising questions about racial profiling and Florida’s self-defense law.

Mr. Zimmerman said that the unarmed teenager attacked him and that he was in such fear for his life that he was forced to shoot Mr. Martin. Mr. Zimmerman had a license to carry a concealed weapon.

While witnesses heard shouts and saw figures fighting outside their windows, the rain and darkness made it difficult to see clearly. As a result, Mr. Zimmerman’s account of what happened that evening as Mr. Martin walked through a gated community in Sanford back to the home of his father’s girlfriend is critical to Mr. Zimmerman’s self-defense case.

Judge Lester’s reversal on the bond will allow prosecutors to cast doubt on Mr. Zimmerman’s story, experts said.

“The fact George Zimmerman was dishonest is very important because his credibility is the most important thing in this entire case,” Benjamin Crump, the Martin family lawyer, said after Friday’s court session.

Mr. O’Mara said that Mr. Zimmerman’s safety was still a concern. He has been in hiding since shortly after the shooting. While he was in jail awaiting his April bond hearing, he was kept in solitary confinement to protect him from other prisoners.

“We are very concerned about safety still, and we will maintain that concern,” Mr. O’Mara said after learning his client would be forced to return to jail. “There are ongoing threats and concerns and complaints. I don’t know where along the spectrum they become true threats. We have begun to process and analyze a number of the statements he has given to the police.”

George Zimmerman back in Fla. jail

George Zimmerman' has returned to a Florida jail, after a judge revoked bond for the man accused in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.

Zimmerman wore a white plaid shirt and jeans when he arrived at the jail in a white unmarked minivan with a police official. He did not answer questions from reporters.

On Sunday afternoon, about 40 minutes before the 2:30 p.m. deadline to surrender, Zimmerman was listed as an inmate on the jail website. He was marked as being held without bail and having $500 in his jail account.

Zimmerman's lawyer said he hopes his client's voluntary return to Florida to turn himself in will show that he's not a flight risk.

A judge revoked Zimmerman's bond last week, suggesting he and his wife had not been honest about their finances. The neighborhood watch volunteer is charged with second-degree murder in the fatal shooting of unarmed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.

Zimmerman's lawyers say their client returned to the state to meet this afternoon's deadline. They say they will ask for a new bond hearing.

During a bond hearing in April, Zimmerman and his wife indicated they had limited funds. But prosecutors say Zimmerman had raised thousands through a website he had set up for his legal defense.

His lawyers said in a press release that the money Zimmerman has raised is in an independent trust and cannot be directly accessed by Zimmerman or his attorneys.

Zimmerman credibility may be hurt by bond dispute

Zimmerman has pleaded not guilty to the second-degree murder charge. He maintains he shot Martin in self-defense under Florida's so-called "stand your ground" law because the teen, who was unarmed, was beating him up after confronting Zimmerman about following him in a gated community outside Orlando.

Zimmerman's credibility could become an issue at trial, legal experts said, noting the case hinges on jurors believing Zimmerman's account of what happened the night in February that Martin was killed.

Zimmerman wasn't charged in the case until more than a month after the shooting. Protests were held across the nation, and the case spurred debate about whether race was a factor in Zimmerman's actions and in the initial police handling of the case. Martin was black; Zimmerman's father is white and his mother is from Peru.

Police in Sanford did not immediately arrest Zimmerman, citing the Florida law that gives wide latitude to use deadly force rather than retreat in a fight if people believe they are in danger of being killed or seriously injured.

The questioning of Zimmerman's truthfulness by the judge on Friday could undermine the defendant's credibility if it is brought up at trial. It also may complicate how his defense presents him as a witness, said Orlando-area attorney Randy McClean, a former prosecutor.

"The other key witness, unfortunately, is deceased," McClean said. "Basically, Zimmerman is going to be asking the jury to believe his version of the facts. ... As the case stands now, his credibility is absolutely critical to the case."

Jail authorities in central Florida, where the case arose, said Zimmerman had not turned himself in there by early Sunday. He must do so by Sunday afternoon.

Zimmerman went into hiding in the weeks after the shooting and his exact whereabouts since he bonded out of jail remain unclear. It was not immediately clear exactly where Zimmerman would surrender.

Witness accounts of the rainy night that Martin was shot are spotty. There is no video of the fight, though photos released by prosecutors show Zimmerman with wounds to his face and the back of his head.

Zimmerman's credibility would be important if his attorney, Mark O'Mara, tries to get a judge without the jury to dismiss the charges based on the law, said Orlando defense attorney David Hill.

"If he was in on something that was not truthfully revealed to the judge, when there is a `stand your ground' hearing, of course you're going to second-guess him," Hill said.

Both McClean and Hill said O'Mara would be able to challenge the admissibility of the bond revocation at trial by questioning its relevance.

Zimmerman was arrested 44 days after the killing, and during a bond hearing in April, his wife, Shellie, testified that the couple had limited funds available. Zimmerman took the stand at the hearing and apologized to Martin's parents.

Prosecutors pointed out in their motion that Zimmerman had $135,000 available then. It had been raised from donations through a website he had set up. They suggested more has been collected since and deposited in a bank account.

Shellie Zimmerman was asked about the website at the hearing, but she said she didn't know how much money had been raised. Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester set bail at $150,000. The 28-year-old was freed a few days later after posting $15,000 in cash — which is typical.

Prosecutor Bernie De la Rionda complained Friday, "This court was led to believe they didn't have a single penny. It was misleading and I don't know what words to use other than it was a blatant lie." The judge agreed and ordered Zimmerman returned to jail by Sunday afternoon.

The defense countered that Zimmerman and his wife never used the money for anything, which indicated "there was no deceit."

The judge said he would schedule a hearing after Zimmerman is back in custody so he could explain himself.

Benjamin Crump, an attorney for Trayvon Martin's parents, Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton, said his clients have always said Zimmerman should remain in jail until trial.

Judge revokes Zimmerman's bond

A Florida judge revoked bond Friday for George Zimmerman, who is charged with second-degree murder in the death of Trayvon Martin.

Seminole County Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester Jr. ordered Zimmerman to surrender to the county sheriff within 48 hours.

Lester accused Zimmerman of having misrepresented how much money he had when his bond was originally set in April. Prosecutors say he had $135,000 at the time Zimmerman's wife, Shellie, told the court, under oath, that they were indigent.

The prosecution cited as evidence recorded telephone conversations that Zimmerman had with his wife prior to the hearing. The conversations were recorded while Zimmerman was being held in the Seminole County Jail after being charged with second-degree murder on April 11.

He has pleaded not guilty and has been free on bail.

Martin, 17, was fatally shot February 26 while walking in a Sanford, Florida, neighborhood where he was staying during a visit with his father. Zimmerman, 28, a neighborhood watch volunteer, told police he shot the teenager in self-defense.

"The defense, through Mrs. Zimmerman, lied to this court about the amount of money that they had," said trial prosecutor Bernie de la Rionda. "I don't know what words to use other than it was a blatant lie."

Outside the courthouse, a lawyer for the family of Martin said Friday's decision is significant. "Judge Lester's finding that George Zimmerman was dishonest is very important because his credibility is the most important thing in this entire case," Benjamin Crump told reporters.

"Remember, this is only George Zimmerman's testimony that says Trayvon Martin attacked him. All the other evidence suggests that George Zimmerman pursued and confronted Trayvon Martin. Therefore, that's why this is such an important ruling today."

The killing spurred protests among people who criticized police handling of the investigation and said Martin, who was unarmed and carrying a bag of Skittles and an Arizona Iced Tea at the time of his death, was racially profiled.

The slain teen was African-American and Zimmerman is Hispanic.

In court documents, State Attorney Angela B. Corey acknowledged she was making strongly worded assertions in describing how Zimmerman's wife represented his finances.

Zimmerman's defense team stated during an April court hearing that Zimmerman's "family members misinformed the court (the state would use a much stronger and accurate word to describe what occurred -- defendant's wife lied to the court) about defendant and his family's finances," Corey wrote in court papers.

She also said that Zimmerman had two passports, and the passport that he surrendered to the court at the April hearing was one that Zimmerman had reported stolen on March 8, 2004, court papers said. That passport was valid until May 2012, Corey said.

Zimmerman was issued a second passport on March 26, 2004, and that one is valid until 2014, she said.

The prosecutor asked the court that Zimmerman be ordered to surrender the second passport to authorities.

Zimmerman spoke of the second passport while in the Seminole County Jail in a phone call to his wife that authorities recorded, Corey said. Court records provided a partial transcript:

Zimmerman: "Do you know what? I think my passport is in that bag."

Shelly (sic) Zimmerman: "I have one for you in safety deposit box ..."
Zimmerman: "OK, you hold onto that."

Prosecutors have informed federal authorities about Zimmerman's second passport in case he attempts to use it "to flee the country," Corey said.

But Lester appeared to accept the explanation from Zimmerman's lawyer that his client had given him the second passport, and the lawyer simply forgot to hand it over to authorities until Friday.

Regarding Zimmerman's finances, Corey alleged that recorded phone calls in April between Zimmerman, while he was in Seminole County Jail, and his wife showed that the couple "spoke in code to hide what they were doing" regarding more than $135,000 in a credit union account belonging to the couple.

The money was apparently donated by members of the public to Zimmerman's website.

Zimmerman "fully controlled and participated in the transfer of money from the PayPal account to defendant and his wife's credit union accounts," Corey said in court records. "This occurred prior to the time defendant was arguing to the court that he was indigent and his wife had no money."

In late April, Zimmerman's attorney, Mark O'Mara, said that the money raised by the website was put into a trust account that the attorney controls.

But Corey stated in court documents Friday:

"The money still belongs to defendant and he can demand it at any time."

Court papers provided a partial transcript of a phone call allegedly showing the code used by Zimmerman and his wife on April 16:

Zimmerman: "In my account do I have at least $100?"
His wife: "No."

Zimmerman: "How close am I?"

His wife: "$8. $8.60."

Zimmerman: "Really. So total everything how much are we looking at?"
His wife: "Like $155."

The prosecutor said the judge "relied on false representations and statements" by Zimmerman and his wife when the court set his bond at $150,000. He was required to post only 10% of that.

Corey argued that the court should revoke the bond or increase it "substantially."
Lester appeared angry that the court had not been told about the money.

"Does your client get to sit there like a potted palm and let you lead me down the primrose path?" he asked Zimmerman's lawyer. "That's the issue."

Outside the courthouse, O'Mara said he hoped the judge's revocation of bond would be temporary. "I hope he'll give us a day in court to explain George's behavior and look at all the circumstances," the lawyer said. "I understand the state's position; I disagree with it.

Meanwhile, Zimmerman's defense team and prosecutors were both on the same side in court Friday afternoon fighting media companies' request to release more information in the case.

Prosecution and defense lawyers argued that a host of material should remain sealed.

The intense public attention on the case is a chief reason certain information should remain out of the public eye, Bernardo de la Rionda of State Attorney Angela Corey's office said in a motion filed earlier this month.

He argued that releasing too much "will result in this matter being tried in the press rather than in court, and an inability to seat a fair and impartial jury in Seminole County." De la Rionda also voiced worries about witnesses being "reluctant to testify" for fear that their privacy would be violated and other witnesses being "harassed by media representatives."

Specifically, the state wants the names and addresses of witnesses kept out of the public record. It asks for the same for crime scene and autopsy photos, a 911 recording of the incident and cell phone records of Martin, Zimmerman and one witness.

De la Rionda is also requesting a judge seal statements Zimmerman made to law enforcement officers, some of which may be used against him at trial because they were "inconsistent with the physical evidence and statements of witnesses."

Zimmerman's attorney, Mark O'Mara, filed his own motion agreeing with the prosecution's desire not to release material. He said the defense wants 1,000 e-mails received by Sanford police to be sealed, plus statements by Zimmerman.

He asked that text messages, e-mail messages or journals made by the defendant be kept private, at least until they can be reviewed.

Scott Ponce of the Miami-based law firm Holland & Knight argued for more disclosure on behalf of various newspapers, TV stations and their parent companies.

The opposing arguments were laid out in motions filed in advance of Friday's hearing.

This week, Ponce filed responses to the prosecution and defense positions, addressing them point by point.

"The broad secrecy the state seeks ... is not supported by statute, constitution or case law, and it certainly cannot be justified in this prosecution," he said.

Ponce argued that civilian witnesses' names and addresses cannot be sealed under Florida's public records law, because they would not be "defamatory" or "jeopardize the safety" of a witness. He said the state hasn't proven anyone is in jeopardy.

The contested cell phone records may be reviewed and, if need be, have parts redacted, but they shouldn't be withheld entirely, he said.

Ponce said Zimmerman's statements to police should not be treated as "confessions," which would not be made public before trial.

The judge expressed sympathy for the prosecution and defense attorneys but said, "The law is against us." He noted that the law in Florida "favors full, complete, open disclosure."

Lester said he would review the discovery request and release material "in a redacted fashion."

George Zimmerman's bond revoked by judge, 48 hours to surrender in Trayvon Martin killing

A judge Friday revoked bond for George Zimmerman, and gave the neighborhood watch volunteer who killed Florida teen Trayvon Martin 48 hours to surrender.

Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester Jr. said that Zimmerman engaged in "material falsehood" about money in issuing his ruling.

About an hour before the ruling came, prosecutors in the second-degree murder case again Zimmerman had filed a new motion requesting the bond revocation.

They contended Zimmerman's wife knew about the donations he had collected through a PayPal account, but didn't mention the money at his bond hearing.

Zimmerman's PayPal account collected more than $200,000, his attorney later revealed.

"Defendant has intentionally deceived the court with the assistance of his wife, Shelley Zimmerman. During the jail phone calls both of them spoke in code to hide what they were doing," the motion read.

The judge said Zimmerman had misled the court at his bond hearing.

The defense says the finances are an innocent misunderstanding.

Prosecutors also argued that Zimmerman has a second passport in addition to the one he surrendered.

Zimmerman was previously released after making a bond that had been set at $150,000.

On Friday, Judge Lester gave the 28-year old Zimmerman two days to turn himself in.

The defendant has repeatedly claimed he shot Trayvon Martin in self-defense on the night of Feb. 26 as the teen was walking in Zimmerman's Sanford, Fla. community.
