After destroying her own career within the Entertainment Industry, Black comedian and actress Monique appears to be determined to destroy the careers of other Black entertainers, including KHIA and TS Madison, hosts of the smash Internet show “The Queen’s Court”.
Oscar-winning actress-turned-polarizing talking head Mo’Nique actually showed up for Khia & Maddie’s wildly popular (and hilariously petty) Facebook roast party/talk show The Queens Court but things went terribly wrong mostly because of technical difficulties that riled up Chatty Patty Twitter.
PELOSI vs CONYERS - SEXUAL HARASSMENT AGAINST WOMEN WHEN MEN ARE IN POWER:
DENIAL OF GUILT DOESN'T MAKE SOMEONE INNOCENT........JUST VERY CUNNING.
IN MOST INSTANCES I DISAGREE WITH NANCY PELOSI BUT THIS TIME I DO AGREE WITH HER DECISION TO INVESTIGATE CONYERS.

***** Pelosi calls for ethics investigation into alleged Conyers sexual harassment
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) called for a formal ethics investigation into Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.) following allegations he sexually harassed female staff and reached a settlement with an aide who claimed she was fired for rejecting his advances.
"As Members of Congress, we each have a responsibility to uphold the integrity of the House of Representatives and to ensure a climate of dignity and respect, with zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, bullying or abuse," Pelosi said in a statement Tuesday.
"As I have said before, any credible allegation of sexual harassment must be investigated by the Ethics Committee," she said.
Pelosi is the most senior lawmaker yet to call for an ethics probe into Conyers's behavior. She did not address whether Conyers, the ranking member of the powerful House Judiciary Committee, should step down from that position.
"I expressly and vehemently denied the allegations made against me, and continue to do so," Conyers stated Tuesday.
"My office resolved the allegations — with an express denial of liability — to save all involved from the rigors of protracted litigation. That should not be lost in the narrative," he stated.
A growing chorus of Democrats has called for an ethics investigation into the matter.
"The allegations against Ranking Member Conyers are extremely serious and deeply troubling," said Rep. Jerrold Nadler (N.Y.), Judiciary's second most senior Democrat, in a statement.
"Obviously, these allegations must be investigated promptly by the Ethics Committee. There can be no tolerance for behavior that subjects women to the kind of conduct alleged," Nadler stated.
"Beyond the sexual harassment allegations are allegations that call into question the amount of money that is used to settle sexual harassment cases, and whether some Members are using their tax payer-funded office budgets to make settlements under the guise of severance payments," Speier said in a statement, also calling for an ethics investigation.
Citing documents from the case, BuzzFeed News reported late Monday that Conyers settled a wrongful dismissal complaint in 2015 with an unidentified woman who alleged that he "repeatedly made sexual advances to female staff that included requests for sex acts." The report included other allegations of harassment by Conyers.
Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.) called the report "extremely troubling" in a statement. He noted a recent rules change requiring members and staff to undergo anti-harassment training and said the House Administration Committee is reviewing congressional workplace policies.
"Additional reforms to the system are under consideration as the committee continues its review," Ryan stated Tuesday. "People who work in the House deserve and are entitled to a workplace without harassment or discrimination."
Pelosi denied knowledge of the alleged settlement in a statement first shared with BuzzFeed, citing the requirement that the parties keep their agreement confidential.
William "Bill" Cosby has been officially charged with Sexual Assault crimes.
His bail is set at $1 Million dollars.
This is a sad day for Bill Cosby and his family.
But what's even more sad is how for years Bill Cosby bashed BLACK Men,
calling them IRRESPONSIBLE Losers, as he repeatedly spoke Gloom &
Doom over the lives of BLACK Men.
Today Bill Cosby himself faces a future of Gloom & Doom.
Let this be a lesson to all BLACK Celebrities and BLACK Leaders.
When GOD blesses you (BLACK People),
he does not bless you so you can go out on the world stage and Bash your own race.
Instead when GOD blesses you (BLACK People) it is so you can Educate
and provide OPPORTUNITIES to help uplift other BLACK People.
Bill Cosby — America’s Dad — accused of rape by dozens of women, was
finally hit with a criminal charge Wednesday before getting released on
$1 million bail.
Just weeks before the statute of limitations was
set to expire, prosecutors charged Cosby with sexually assaulting a
Temple University employee at his suburban Philadelphia mansion in 2004.
“The evidence is strong,” said Montgomery County Prosecutor Kevin
Steele, announcing a single count of aggravated indecent assault against
the creepy comedian.
Steele described the defenseless victim, tossing a fresh layer of taint on Cosby’s once-wholesome image.
“Frozen, paralyzed, unable to move,” he said. “A person in that state is unable to consent.”
Prosecutors initially declined in 2005 to file charges in the case, citing a lack of evidence.
Accuser Andrea Constand, who has spoken publicly about the encounter
with the perverted funnyman, then filed a civil suit against Cosby and
settled out of court the following year.
In a deposition in that
case, Cosby said under oath that he gave Constand halved pills that he
described as “three friends to make (her) relax,” according to the
affidavit.
Among the last words she recalled hearing:
“Down them. Put ’em down. Put them in your mouth.”
He also acknowledged under oath that he obtained seven prescriptions in
his own name for Quaaludes for the purpose of having sex with women.
A judge unsealed those depositions filed in Philadelphia federal court
earlier this year, prompting Montgomery County prosecutors to reopen
their criminal case.
“Reopening this case was not a question. Rather, reopening this was our duty,” Steele said.
The new case marks the first criminal prosecution of the diminishing
star and sets the stage for what could be a blockbuster trial involving
some of the roughly 60 other accusers who say they were sexually
assaulted by Cosby.
The 78-year-old faces up to a decade behind
bars if convicted. He went from the courthouse, about 10 miles north of
Philadelphia, to a local police station and was freed on bail — all
within 30 minutes.
“Make no mistake, we intend to mount a
vigorous defense against this unjustified charge and we expect that Mr.
Cosby will be exonerated,” Cosby’s attorneys said in a statement.
An affidavit made public Wednesday detailed the revolting encounter
with Constand in January 2004, which echoed other alleged assaults by
Cosby dating as far back as 1965.
Cosby made two unwanted sexual advances on Constand in the months leading up to the assault, papers allege.
Constand, now 42, returned to his home around 8:45 p.m. thinking they
were going to discuss her career. Instead, Cosby offered her pills and
wine, according to the court papers.
“These will make you feel good. The blue things will take the edge off,” Cosby said, according to documents.
About 30 minutes later Constand was helpless as Cosby positioned
himself behind her as she faded “in and out” of consciousness on a
couch, according to documents.
Constand had blurred vision and
difficulty speaking as Cosby fondled her breasts, put his hand down her
pants and penetrated her with his fingers, the affidavit states.
Cosby allegedly took Constand’s right hand and placed it on his privates.
Constand passed out and woke up around 4 a.m. the next day with her bra
undone and moved above her breasts, according to the affidavit.
Cosby, dressed in a robe, gave her a muffin, walked to the front door,
opened it and merely said, “All right,” the paperwork states.
She recalled leaving the residence without saying anything.
After the alleged assault, Constand fled to Canada to be near family
and told her mom what happened.
The mom confronted Cosby over the
telephone, according to documents.
Cosby admitted the encounter
during their conversation, said he gave Constand some type of
“prescription” medication and invited the women on an all-expenses-paid
trip to Florida, the affidavit states.
Cosby gave an interview to
Cheltenham Township police in January 2005 and claimed the sexual
encounter was consensual, according to the affidavit.
“When
directly asked if he ever had sexual intercourse with the victim, Cosby
gave (police) the unusual answer, ‘never asleep or awake,’” the
affidavit claims.
Constand will cooperate with prosecutors in the new case, Steele said.
Attorney Gloria Allred, who represents 29 women who say Cosby also
doped and groped them, said her clients are thrilled at the latest
development in his long downfall.
“Seeing him criminally charged and having to face a trial is the best Christmas present they have ever received,” Allred said.
Michael Jackson's life was destined to end early, according to Lisa Marie Presley -- but she wishes she'd tried harder to save him.
"I know it's naive to think that I could've, but I wanted to," Presley said on The Oprah Winfrey Show Thursday, where she opened up about the death of her ex-husband. "Had I just said, 'How are you?' Can I try to make a phone call? I really... regret that I didn't."
Jackson died last year at age 50 from an overdose of the powerful sedative Propofol and had a history of prescription drug abuse.
Presley believes Jackson's "God-like" existence made it difficult for people to stand up to him about his dangerous habits.
"If he didn't want you around, if you were going to make him confront something he didn't want to confront, he could make you go away -- including his own family," she said. "I think that was a train heading in a certain direction that no one could have stopped. I've had to really get my head around that in order to stop the pain."
She also recalled her last "coherent" conversation with Jackson, whom she married in 1994 and divorced soon after. "I was very distanced, and he was checking to get a read, you know?" she says of the chat in 2005. "He was trying to throw a line out to see if I would bite emotionally, and I wouldn't."
When he asked her if she loved him, "I told him I was indifferent," she says. "He didn't like that word. He cried."
He also said something chilling at the end of that call: "He felt that someone was going to try to kill him to get hold of his catalogue and his estate," she says, adding that Jackson named names but that she couldn't reveal them.
Presley, 42, lives in England with her guitarist husband Michael Lockwood. She has four children.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi gives herself "an 'A' for effort."
"We used our time very well" in the House, Pelosi said on ABC's "This Week." She credits her rank and file for approving each of the president's top legislative priorities -- many of which are currently stalled in the Senate.
With that in mind, the California Democrat declined a request to grade the Senate, saying only, "Let's grade us all on a curve."
Any commercial with Betty White and Abe Vigoda is a winner in our book no matter what it’s about. In this case, the spunky Golden Girl is playing pickup football with the guys, though she’s struggling. “Man, you’ve been riding me all day,” she says before eating a Snickers bar that not only transforms her into a regular guy but also raises Vigoda from the dead. What, “Fish” is still alive? Twenty-eight years after People Magazine erroneously reported his demise, the answer is yes!
Late night fans got the surprise of a lifetime during the second quarter of the Super Bowl tonight when they saw Jay Leno sitting side-by-side with David Letterman in a promo for CBS’ Late Show. Appearing with Oprah Winfrey, Letterman laments about how bad the party is, and Leno retorts “he’s just saying that because I’m here.” Minutes after the spot, CBS sent out word that the two late night stars taped the spot last Tuesday at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City. The spot was a revisit, of sorts, to a 2007 Super Bowl spot that featured Letterman and Winfrey. A Late Show spokesman said the spot was Letterman’s idea, and Leno and Winfrey were willing participants.
The Simpson and Coke. Perfect together. Who wouldn’t like to see Monty Burns lose all his money? But the goodness of Coke makes for feel-good ending for all. Big props for a Spider-pig cameo on the swings.
OK, Hyundai’s commercials are getting better (with as many as they’re running, the odds are at least ONE had to be good). As much as we’re all getting sick of Brett Favre’s indecision every year, obviously he has a sense of humor about. I thought it was funny when he was saying most of the fans are younger than him, and that was before I noticed it was the 2020 MVP award he was winning. I thought he was talking about the current season. Because he’s already old.
Punxsutawney Polamalu. Awesome. So much better than a commercial about his hair. Let’s see PETA complain about THIS one. Unfortunately, there won’t really be six more weeks of football.
We all know this spineless male. Some of us know him all too well. Yeah, watching TV on a little screen can save some male dignity. But good luck getting your girlfriend to allow that.
Passengers from an airplane crash are moping around on a desert island until the beverage cart full of Bud Lights washes up on shore. That’s when the party begins! Maybe the pilot had a few too many before he crashed the plane -- who knows? But the commercial proves that Homer Simpson was right: Beer truly is the cause of -- and solution to -- all of life’s problems.
A life-sized sock monkey, a robot and a red monster you’ll recognize if you have kids all experience a wild weekend in a Hyundai. Not sure why this was funny, but it was.
Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo reprise their roles as quirky parents from the classic “Vacation” movies, except this time they’re exasperated travelers getting screwed by extra hotel charges. The solution, says the ad, is to rent a house. It’s a pretty good spot, but we were hoping Christie Brinkley would make an appearance at the hotel pool. This is crazy, this is crazy, this is crazy!
Really clever commercial showing only the Google searches of a traveler in Paris as he tries to find the Louvre, then a cafe, then woos a French woman, then finds a job in France, then gets instructions on how to assemble a crib for their child. It shows how Google can help create a happy life instead of being used just for finding naked pictures of celebrities.
Funny. Sure, we all need to be more environmentally conscious. But it’s always funny when stuff like that is taken to the extreme. If a car could allow you to go around real police checkpoints like the one in the commercial, it’d be well worth it. Until that day, I’ll try to avoid a ticket for recycling.

During her recent interview with Superstar Oprah Winfrey, former GOP VP Candidate and Alaska Governor Sarah Palin revealed her perspective on the issue of Abortion. Do I agree with her? Yes I do. At one time in my life I was a Single Mother also faced with the option of Abortion. Choosing to have my two sons years ago when faced with that decision, leaves me with no regrets today.
While delivering his last Health Care Reform speech before Congress on Sept. 9, 2009, Pres. Obama promised American Voters there would be No Federal Funding for Abortions included in the bill. Have Democrats forgotten this promise?
The author of a controversial amendment restricting federal funding for abortion coverage on Tuesday predicted that health care reform legislation would stall if the White House tries to step in and strip it out.
Rep. Bart Stupak, D-Mich., dismissed a claim by White House Senior Adviser David Axelrod that President Obama would intervene to change the language, saying Axelrod is clueless on the issue and that such an intervention would imperil the bill.
"They're not going to take it out. If they do, health care will not move forward," Stupak told Fox News. "We won fair and square. ... That's why Mr. Axelrod's not a legislator. He doesn't really know what he's talking about."
The abortion amendment was tacked on to the House health care bill and was a key factor in securing the votes of moderate Democrats before the bill was approved by a narrow margin earlier this month. The amendment went beyond preventing the proposed government-run plan from covering abortion to restricting federal subsidies from being used for private plans that offer abortion coverage.
House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer said Tuesday that the language "raised a comfort level with many members." The bill passed by a narrow margin even after the abortion language was added. Hoyer offered no predictions for its fate in the Senate and beyond.
"We'll have to see how that is handled in the Senate and then in the conference," Hoyer said.
The passage drew recriminations from abortion rights supporters like Planned Parenthood, which called on the White House and Democratic lawmakers to reverse the measure. Axelrod answered the call in an interview Sunday, saying the amendment changes the "status quo," something the president cannot abide.
"The president has said repeatedly, and he said in his speech to Congress, that he doesn't believe that this bill should change the status quo as it relates to the issue of abortion," Axelrod said. "This shouldn't be a debate about abortion. And he's going to work with Senate and the House to try and ensure that at the end of the day, the status quo is not changed ... I believe that there are discussions ongoing to how to adjust it accordingly."
Axelrod told CNN's "State of the Union" that the president believes that issue, as well as the ongoing dispute over what kind of government-run insurance plan, if any, should be included in the overhaul, "can and will be worked through before it reaches his desk."
The president also said last week that he did not support the amendment.
But Stupak said the bill would have a difficult time getting through the Senate without such restrictions, and said that if it bounces back to the House without the amendment, the administration could lose "at least 10 to 15 to 20" votes.
"The majority has spoken. Most people agree -- do not use public funds for abortion," he said. "You're not going to summarily start dismissing amendments which the majority of the House of Representatives wanted because some person, David Axelrod or someone, doesn't like it."
Sen. Claire McCaskill, a pro-choice Democrat from Missouri, said on Monday that she didn't think a provision greatly restricting the ability of woman to access or pay for abortions would be enough to kill a Senate health care bill
Appearing on MSNBC's "Morning Joe", McCaskill was asked whether an amendment added by Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.) to the House's legislation would be too bitter a pill to pass the Senate.
"I am not sure that it is," replied the Missouri Democrat. "Obviously, I have been a pro-choice candidate for my entire political career, and obviously there is controversy always surrounding this issue. But we are talking about whether or not people that get public money can buy an insurance policy that has a coverage for abortion. And that is not the majority of America. The majority of America is not going to be getting subsidies from the government...."
"And so, I am not sure that this is going to be enough to kill the bill," McCaskill added. "And frankly, once again, this is another example of having to govern with moderates. We can't just turn our back on the fact that the reason we are in majority, is because states like Indiana, and Arkansas, and Louisiana, and Missouri, and North Carolina, and Virginia sent Democrats to the Senate."
One of just 13 female Democrats in the Senate, McCaskill's willingness to support a Senate version of the Stupak amendment could go a long way to determining whether it is added to the final product. Already on Monday there is ample indication that it will be considered. Leadership aides, for one, are not tamping down reports that a handful of conservative Democrats are preparing to introduce legislation that would mirror Stupak's. As one noted, the two committees that produced health care legislation each considered amendments that either explicitly or practically achieved what Stupak's did. Finance had the Hatch Amendment that required women to buy supplemental abortion coverage while HELP had multiple amendments.
The language seems likely to be considered once again. As The New York Time's reported: "some Senate Democrats, including Bob Casey of Pennsylvania and Ben Nelson of Nebraska, are pushing to incorporate the same restrictions in their own bill. Senior Senate Democratic aides said the outcome was too close to call."
If, indeed, the Stupak language makes it into the Senate bill, it would be a major blow to pro-choice advocates. It would also seemingly ensure that the restrictions on abortion access would survive conference committee with the House and end up in the final piece of legislation. If that is the case it sets up a major showdown, once again, in the people's chamber. Rep. Diana DeGette (D-Colo.), for one, has insisted she and 40 additional colleagues will oppose any final bill that includes the Stupak amendment.
"There's going to be a firestorm here," DeGette told The Washington Post. "Women are going to realize that a Democratic-controlled House has passed legislation that would prohibit women paying for abortions with their own funds. . . . We're not going to let this into law."
Palin opens up about Couric, Johnston. Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin begins her book tour with an interview with Oprah Winfrey in which she talks about Levi Johnston, the McCain campaign and her interview with Katie Couric. NBC’s Andrea Mitchell reports.
Former Alaska GOP Gov. Sarah Palin says that The Associated Press is “erroneously reporting” on the contents of her book.
POLITICO has learned that Palin, in a statement that will be posted on her Facebook page Friday, writes that “as you probably have heard, the AP snagged a copy of my memoir, "Going Rogue", before its Tuesday release. And as is expected, the AP and a number of subsequent media outlets are erroneously reporting the contents of the book.”
Palin asks supporters to withhold their reactions until they have had a chance to read the book.
“Keep your powder dry, read the book, and enjoy it! Lots of great stories about my family, Alaska and the incredible honor it was to run alongside Sen. John McCain,” she wrote. “We can't wait to hit the road and meet so many on the book tour! See you in Michigan first.”
An associate of Sarah Palin tells Mark Halperin that her memoir, "Going Rogue," will "include some score settling with McCain aides she believes ill-served her (names will be named)." But those aides will have to buy the book to find out what Palin has to say about them. One source tells Halperin the book does not include an index.
The book comes out next Tuesday; if you want to see Palin read from it in person, here's the "Going Rogue" book tour schedule. If you just can't wait, here's the Village Voice take on what might be inside.
Meanwhile, a book deal with an aide to the former Alaska governor has been terminated. San Diego-based Releve Marketing and PR announced Tuesday it will no longer represent or co-author Frank Bailey's upcoming book "Renegade: Sarah Palin's Hatchet Man."
What about her dear children? What about her legacy of Helping the Poor?
Has she forgotten that our country is currently experiencing a Recession?
Elizabeth you are beginning to look Foolish, Scorned and Vindictive. Not many people find that attractive, especially not in such an Intelligent, Accomplished Woman as yourself.
Somehow whether you choose to admit it or not, you too played a part in his little scheme.
Instead of using the Media to mend your broken heart (bad move) or bash Rielle Hunter, why not decide to take the high road and finish strong?
Now either accept personal responsibility, forgive everyone and move on or....Divorce him!
