KANYE WEST WAS RIGHT ABOUT 400 YRS OF SLAVERY BEING A “CHOICE FOR BLACK PEOPLE” (TRUTH HURTS)

KANYE WEST WAS RIGHT ABOUT 400 YRS OF SLAVERY BEING A “CHOICE FOR BLACK PEOPLE”:

WILL HIS LATEST CONTROVERSIAL COMMENTS BE THE FINAL NAIL TO SEAL KANYE'S COFFIN?

I'M SURE MY PERSONAL BLOG POST ON THIS TOPIC WILL ANGER SOME PEOPLE TOO.

BLACK PEOPLE ARE STILL IN SLAVERY NOT DUE TO RACISM, BUT BECAUSE WE REFUSE TO WORK TOGETHER FOR THE COLLECTIVE GOOD.

WHAT KANYE SAID WASN’T POPULAR BUT IT'S DEFINITELY TRUE…….HE IS FINALLY WAKING UP.

SLAVERY HAS BEEN ABOLISHED SO WHY CAN'T BLACK PEOPLE SUPPORT ONE ANOTHER & WORK TOGETHER IN THE 21st CENTURY FOR THE COLLECTIVE GOOD?

WHEN BLACK PEOPLE WAKE UP AND THINK FOR THEMSELVES THEY ARE LABELED “MENTALLY UNSTABLE” OR AS “TROUBLEMAKERS” WHO NEED TO BE DESTROYED.

REAL LEADERS CAN'T BE AFRAID TO SPEAK THE TRUTH.

21st CENTURY BLACK LEADERS DON'T WANT TO REALLY HELP THE BLACK COMMUNITY, THEY JUST WANT FAT POCKETS.

BLACK PEOPLE ARE STILL IN SLAVERY NOT DUE TO RACISM, ONLY BECAUSE WE REFUSE TO WORK TOGETHER.

BLACK MEN ARE JEALOUS OR INSECURE OF BLACK WOMEN SO THEY RUN OFF TO WHITE WOMEN & LATINO WOMEN.

BLACK WOMEN OFTEN TRY TO TEAR DOWN OTHER BLACK WOMEN.

BLACK VOTERS STILL LARGELY VOTE DEMOCRAT WITHOUT PROPERLY VETTING THEIR OWN CANDIDATES.

BLACK LEADERS FREQUENTLY IGNORE THE PLIGHTS OF IMPOVERISHED BLACK YOUTH, ESPECIALLY IMPOVERISHED YOUNG BLACK MEN.

BLACK POLITICIANS & BLACK BUSINESS OWNERS ARE ONLY IN IT FOR PERSONAL GAIN NOT TO HELP OTHERS.

THOUSANDS OF YOUNG BLACK MEN ARE WRONGLY INCARCERATED ANNUALLY YET BLACK LEADERS KEEP PARTYING AND LAUGHING.

BLACK SENIOR CITIZENS ARE THROWN AWAY LIKE BAGS OF TRASH.

MANY OLDER MARRIED BLACK MEN PREY UPON LOW INCOME SINGLE WOMEN AND USE THOSE WOMEN FOR SEX, OFTEN RESULTING IN MORE BABIES.

MANY BLACK CHURCH LEADERS FLEECE BLACK CONGREGANTS FOR MONEY YET DON'T REALLY CARE ABOUT BLACK COMMUNITIES.

BLACK RETIRED SOLDIERS OVER THE AGE OF 60 ARE FORCED TO TAKE MEDICATIONS WHICH LEAD TO A SLOW DEATH.

BLACK AFRICANS COME TO AMERICA AND IDENTIFY AS BEING ONE STEP ABOVE BLACK AMERICANS.

THUS THE BLACK AMERICAN COMMUNITY IS STILL IN SLAVERY 400 YEARS LATER BY CHOICE.

I REPEAT.

WHAT KANYE SAID WASN’T POPULAR BUT IT'S DEFINITELY TRUE…….HE IS FINALLY WAKING UP.

BLACK PEOPLE ARE STILL IN SLAVERY NOT DUE TO RACISM, BUT BECAUSE WE REFUSE TO WORK TOGETHER FOR THE COLLECTIVE GOOD.

WHEN BLACK PEOPLE WAKE UP AND THINK FOR THEMSELVES THEY ARE LABELED “MENTALLY UNSTABLE” OR AS “TROUBLEMAKERS” WHO NEED TO BE DESTROYED.

****** Kanye West just said 400 years of slavery was a choice

Tuesday brought us two Kanyes.

The first was a man who opened up about his mental health, his family, and his art in a nearly-two hour interview with radio host Charlamagne Tha God.

The second was a Kanye who appeared at the TMZ headquarters where he had this to say:

"When you hear about slavery for 400 years ... ...

For 400 years? That sounds like a choice."

The rapper went on to add:

"You were there for 400 years and it's all of y'all. It's like we're mentally imprisoned."

Provocative statements are second nature to the 40-year-old rapper. And this week he's been making headlines left and right, including proclaiming his love for President Trump.

But when he made his off-handed remark about slavery, TMZ employee Van Lathan took him to task for it.

An employee confronts him

"While you are making music and being an artist and living the life that you've earned by being a genius, the rest of us in society have to deal with these threats to our lives," Lathan said.

"We have to deal with the marginalization that's come from the 400 years of slavery that you said for our people was a choice."

Lathan added, "Frankly, I'm disappointed, I'm appalled, and brother, I am unbelievably hurt by the fact that you have morphed into something to me, that's not real."

Kanye tries to explain

As his words lit Twitter on fire, Kanye tried to explain what he meant. Here is his series of tweets Tuesday evening:

"[T]o make myself clear. Of course I know that slaves did not get shackled and put on a boat by free will.

My point is for us to have stayed in that position even though the numbers were on our side means that we were mentally enslaved."

And then Kanye quickly made it about Kanye:

"[T]he reason why I brought up the 400 years point is because we can't be mentally imprisoned for another 400 years.

We need free thought now.

Even the statement was an example of free thought. It was just an idea.

Once again I am being attacked for presenting new ideas."

***** Shock poll: NFL now least liked sport, core fans down 31%

Over just one month of player, coach, and owner protests of the flag and National Anthem, the National Football League has gone from America's sport to the least liked of top professional and college sports, according to a new poll.

From the end of August to the end of September, the favorable ratings for the NFL have dropped from 57 percent to 44 percent, and it has the highest unfavorable rating – 40 percent – of any big sport, according to the Winston Group survey provided exclusively to Secrets.

Worse for football, which was already seeing lower TV ratings and empty stadium seats, the month of protests and complaints about them from President Trump drove core fans, men 34-54, away, the most significant indicator that NFL brass aren't in touch with their base.

The Winston Poll from the Washington-based Winston Group found that the attitude of those fans went from an August rating of 73 percent favorable and 19 percent unfavorable to 42 percent favorable and 47 percent unfavorable, a remarkable turn against the sport.

According to the poll analysis, "more critically for the NFL, the fall off in favorables occurred among important audiences. Among males, NFL favorables fell 23 percent, going from 68 percent to 45 percent. In looking at a more specific audience, males 34-54, NFL favorables fell 31 percent, going from 73 percent to 42 percent. Among this group the NFL has a surprising negative image, as it went from +54 percent in August to -5 percent in September."

The Winston Poll was of brand images for the NFL, Major League Baseball, the National Basketball Association, and college football and basketball. It was of 1,000 registered voters and taken August 29-30 and then again September 28-29.

In August, baseball had the highest favorables, just a few points above the NFL.

August Winston Poll

MLB/61 percent favorable to 13 percent unfavorable.
NFL/57 percent favorable to 23 percent unfavorable.
College football/53 percent favorable to 16 percent unfavorable.
College basketball/48 percent favorable to 17 percent unfavorable.
NBA/47 percent unfavorable to 23 percent unfavorable.
September Winston Poll

MLB/63 percent favorable to 16 percent unfavorable.
College football/51 percent favorable to 21 percent unfavorable.
NBA/46 percent favorable to 28 percent unfavorable.
College basketball/45 percent favorable to 25 percent unfavorable.
NFL/44 percent favorable to 40 percent unfavorable.
During the month, the college basketball drop was likely influenced by the suspension of Louisville Coach Rick Pitino who is linked to a scandal.

According to the Winston Poll, every category of NFL fan saw a drop in support.

STRONG BLACK WOMEN & OTHER MYTHS ABOUT 21ST CENTURY BLACK AMERICA

STRONG BLACK WOMEN & OTHER MYTHS ABOUT 21ST CENTURY BLACK AMERICA

BEFORE WE ARE STRONG, BLACK PEOPLE ARE HUMAN BEINGS FIRST.

Sources: The New Black Magazine, TheNIB.com, Youtube

In the video above I address the centuries old myth of how American society has frequently used the phrase "Strong Black Women" as an excuse to continue forcing Black Women to accept Abuse, Disrespect and Poverty versus living their lives as the Queens they were created by GOD to be.

Contrary to popular propaganda broadcasted about Black Women by the Mainstream Media:

Black Women are not resilient and strong when their Sons are Murdered due to Police Brutality or Gang Violence.

Black Women are not resilient and strong when their Sons are sentenced to Prison for petty, non-homicidal crimes.

Black Women are not resilient and strong when our Black Men can't find JOBS due to RACISM.

Black Women are not resilient and strong 24 hours a day.

Black Women are human beings first who need love, relaxation and time to heal from our losses or from being overworked.

The myth of the STRONG BLACK WOMAN (SBW) is so simple and so clear that it is somewhat amazing that we are still bamboozled.

The myth of the STRONG BLACK WOMAN (SBW) is so simple and so clear that it is somewhat amazing that we are still bamboozled.

You see, we - being the black women who are the “johns” of this particular scam - think that being an SBW is something to which one should aspire; we feel complimented when we are included in the category of others similarly valorized; and we blame ourselves for any indication that we are falling below the standards of the SBW.

Is this not the most delicious trick ever played on anyone?

The greatest achievement the rest of the world ever achieved was convincing black women that SBW existed, and that our job was to grow up into one. Black women are raised to be SBW in the most exemplary fashion possible, and faithfully to remain one without pause or rest until the grim reaper relieved us of the burdens of our mortality.

It is really terrifyingly, astonishingly and ineffably well-crafted, this myth. Insofar as, so long as we are kept either desiring, or believing ourselves actually to be, Strong Black Women, there is no amount of pure nonsense, abuse, overwork, ingratitude, exploitation, underappreciation, and just plain shit that we will not put up with.

You see, SBW, of course, can make $10 stretch into meals for a week, clothes for everyone, payment of bills, and school fees, etc.,— this is just a well known and, indeed, required characteristic of SBW.

SBW are, by nature, ready, nay, eager to work five jobs at a time so as to feed and clothe their nearest and dearest without expecting, and more properly, absolutely rejecting any help.

One has, after all, one’s pride as a Strong Black Woman. SBW are also expected to give command performances as free, endlessly sympathetic and reliable therapists, counselors, substitute mothers, and wise women, who willingly provide free emotional and mental labour to everyone else.

You have a problem? Go and cry on an SBW shoulder, which is guaranteed (why else are they SBW?) to be there, to provide cleenex, food and appropriate ego validation and finally, to manage to complete the four hours worth of work interrupted and delayed by your tales of woe.

This function of the SBW is usually taken advantage of by non-Strong Black Women  This is because of course non-SBW’s problems are real and agonizing,

SBW, it is understood, do not suffer emotionally as much as the other, more fragile and helpless non-SBW population: because they are strong, and thus, better able to endure better.

This is like having a bullet-proof vest when the shooting starts: the unprotected get to scream and wail and run for cover whilst the SBW who are already armoured and thus have no fear, should promptly assume their assigned rescue service, feeding service, administrative, and problem-solving roles.

Whence, in addition to everything else, comes the ugly fact that SBW are granted less time for grieving, assumed to have less sense of loss and suffering and required to have a faster recovery time from trauma than everybody else, so that they can go and take care of the anguish and malaise of others. Well, naturally. It is an SBW thing: you wouldn't understand and are very careful not even to try.

Do you know how much crap that a black woman has had to go through?

Do we ever ask ourselves what sort of toll it took on her, what scars were left, whether she ever needed to lock herself in the bathroom and weep, if she ever thought of giving up and why she didn't?

Do you know what demons plagued her at night whilst the world slept, what private spaces of knowing pain and knowing suffering her poetry comes from?

Whether she ever lost her faith and her certainty in the cause, and if, indeed, by now she is not so tired by all those years of giving, giving and giving--to us?

Many of us who have or have had the kind of mothers or aunts or honorary aunts whom we admire and who make us proud and to whom we owe everything – those we see as Strong Black Women.

Whilst acknowledging all their sacrifices, their struggles overcome and their achievements, have you ever thought that they accomplished then not because of some spurious “extra” strength but despite the weaknesses common to us all?

I’ve thought of my own mother, whom I have idolized my whole life, because she did just amazing things.

She was the first this and the first that. She was the only African woman ever to do x. She left a lasting legacy through her work in y. She also managed to bring me up, protect and shelter me, and mould me into a competent human being.

But what about her life?

How often do I ask myself if she was ever frightened, insecure, confused, lost? How often do I ask if she ever yearned for opportunities lost, regretted decisions made, missed absent friends?

The answer to that would be “once.” Today.

Because before today, she was just absolutely perfect and pristine. Before today I would have reacted to such a suggestion of human failings and fears in my mother with snorting and indignant incredulity—except I realised how wrong that would be. Pedestals do not really give one much room to move or to be.

The problem with the myth of the SBW is this. It falsely supposes that SBW have powers, skills and capacities beyond those of ordinary mortals - sort of like super heroes –

So much so that their achievements are not as difficult to attain as they would be for others and somehow inhere in the very quality of SBW-ness, itself.

When you look at this logic for long enough, it becomes pretty obvious that we don’t need to thank SBW or even to congratulate them.

After all, they have only achieved what their innate SBW-ness allows, nay, compels them to achieve. Where is the agency of these women here? How do we honour them by making their achievements banal by not contextualizing them in human frailty?

If Superman leaps over a tall building at a single bound, well, yawn, stretch and change the channel. If I were ever to leap over a tall building at a single bound, I would expect some serious attention, astonishment, adoration and for everyone to realise that having done all this leaping about, I would fairly obviously need a good long rest.

Conversely, I most certainly would not appreciate having immediately presented to me another building, over which I am also expected to leap without question or hesitation.

Well, that is it for me.

Strong Black Women are permanently off the list of things that I want to be when I grow up. I am going to treasure and revel in and treat tenderly all my weaknesses and mistakes and failures—all of which I have in amazingly copious quantities - because they make my achievements that much more precious to me.

Let the age of the Weak Black Women begin!

BEN CARSON CONCEDES 2016 GOP RACE (OBAMACARE vs SLAVERY)

BEN CARSON CONCEDES 2016 GOP RACE: (OBAMACARE vs SLAVERY)

TRUMP HIGHLY RESPECTS DR CARSON'S INTELLECT.
POLITICS IS A BLOOD SPORT ONLY FOR THE RUTHLESS.
TRUMP IS HUMAN YET RUTHLESS ENOUGH TO WIN.

Sources: CNN, NY Times, Youtube

Ben Carson, the only Republican to have once threatened the lead of Donald J. Trump in national polls, said on Wednesday he saw no path forward and would skip a debate on Thursday in his hometown of Detroit, signaling an end to his candidacy after paltry performances in the nominating contests.

Stopping short of suspending his campaign, Mr. Carson said he would provide more details in a speech on Friday, but after his dismal showing in the Super Tuesday states, his campaign is effectively over.

A retired pediatric brain surgeon of world renown, Mr. Carson long held Republicans’ favor with an uplifting biography and a quiet manner that belied his strafing critiques of President Obama and liberalism, which delighted grass-roots conservatives.

In the end, Mr. Carson withered under mocking insults hurled at him by Mr. Trump, especially in Iowa, and he suffered from voters’ desire for a candidate projecting strength at a time of anxiety over terrorism.

“Dr. Carson’s favorability ratings have never changed,” Armstrong Williams, a close adviser, said just before the Iowa caucuses last month, when Mr. Carson finished a disappointing fourth. “But after Paris and San Bernardino, his supporters made a different decision.

They wanted a war president. Dr. Carson did not have the rhetoric or the competitiveness on the debate stage to say the explosive things, to say, ‘Let’s keep all the Muslims out.”’

Even in a year of fierce anti-establishment leanings, Mr. Carson’s months-long popularity, coupled with the prodigious support of small donors — his $20 million collected last summer led all other candidates – stunned political professionals.

Born into poverty and raised by a single mother with a third-grade education, Mr. Carson remade himself from a wayward teenager into a scholar, winning admission to Yale and medical school.

By 33, he was the chief of a major department at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

He burst on the political scene in 2013 when he criticized President Obama’s health care plan at the National Prayer Breakfast, a video watched over and over by delighted conservatives.

After his disappointing showing in the Iowa caucuses, Mr. Carson never seemed to regain his political footing.

In the round of Super Tuesday contests Tuesday, his hopes for a strong performance in the South faltered, as he ran a distant fourth or fifth in every state.

“I do not see a political path forward in light of last evening’s Super Tuesday primary results,” Mr. Carson said in a statement. “However, this grassroots movement on behalf of ‘We the People’ will continue.”

“I appreciate the support, financial and otherwise, from all corners of America,” Mr. Carson said. “Gratefully, my campaign decisions are not constrained by finances; rather by what is in the best interests of the American people.”

21st CENTURY OLDER BLACK DEMOCRATS OPPOSE CHANGE - 2016 ELECTION (INSANITY POLITICS)

21st CENTURY OLDER BLACK DEMOCRATS OPPOSE CHANGE - 2016 ELECTION:

THOMAS SOWELL SAYS "INSANITY POLITICS" EQUALS NO CHANGE, NO RESULTS.

The late Scientist Albert Einstein once defined the word "INSANITY" as doing the same thing over and over again, while expecting DIFFERENT results.
The word "CHANGE" is defined as Being DIFFERENT.

However for most BLACK Democrat voters the word "CHANGE" is a dirty word especially as it relates to Politics.
Most older BLACK Democrats appear to be resistant to CHANGE and lack Objectivity in their thinking.

Perhaps this explains why Pres OBAMA targeted Younger voters in 2008 and 2012.

In fact most Older BLACK Democrats would rather DIE from a terrible disease then to consider supporting a REPUBLICAN candidate, even if voting for that GOP candidate is in the best interest of BLACK voters.

Will Older BLACK Democrat voters open their minds to CHANGE?
Or will they allow their Stubbornness to Silence and Devalue the voices of future BLACK Democrat voters?

In the article below Mr THOMAS SOWELL, a BLACK Social Theorist and Political Philosopher from North Carolina explains in detail why BLACK voters continue to foolishly cast their ballots for DEMOCRAT candidates.

Thomas Sowell discusses Black voters’ allegiance to the Democratic party and the failure of the GOP to make a robust case for Black votes.

Blacks have been the Democrats’ most reliable voting bloc for the last 50 years.

And let’s face it, with Barack Obama in the White House, that’s not going to change in the near future.
On the national level, Democrats typically get around 90 percent of the Black vote, even when a Black man isn’t running for president as a Democrat.
Al Gore got 92 percent of the Black vote in 2000; John Kerry got 88 percent in 2004.
These percentages aren’t just impressive; for Democrats, they’re imperative.

Since 1980, the percentage of White votes received by the Democrats’ candidate for president has usually hovered around 39 percent.
Unless Democrats maintain a vise grip on at least 90 percent of the Black vote, the party’s presidential prospects usually fade to oblivion. Both parties know this.
If the GOP peeled off just 5 or 10 percent of the Black vote, Democrats would be in perpetual electoral jeopardy, and not just at the presidential level.

Dr. Sowell discusses a few of the reasons why Blacks who support Democrats are voting against self- interest (and makes a more persuasive case than Thomas Frank did in What’s the Matter with Kansas? regarding Kansans’ support of the Republican party).
There are many more reasons. Consider just the following:

* Large, Arbitrary Minimum Wage Increases.

Milton Friedman once said that “We regard the minimum wage as one of the most, if not the most, anti-Black laws on the statute books.”

(A good argument can be made that the minimum wage vies for this title with the Davis-Bacon Act — uniformly supported by Democrats — mandating that prevailing wages be paid on government construction projects and passed for the express purpose of preventing blacks from competing with whites on public-works jobs.)

Sharp increases in the minimum wage price unskilled workers out of the labor market, a dislocation that falls most heavily on young black males.
Such increases impair the ability of unskilled workers to get the entry-level jobs that are the first rungs on the ladder of upward job mobility.
As someone once said, a wage, minimum or otherwise, presumes a job. Public Education and School Choice.
Millions of black kids are trapped in medieval public schools that are insulated from competition and suffocated by union rules.

Yet Democrats resist meaningful choice, insisting instead on that infallible remedy, “full funding.” ‪#‎more‬#They’re encouraged, apparently, by how well that solution has worked in places like Newark, which spends $18,000 per student — among the most of any major public school system — but where only 30 percent of 8th graders can pass the annual proficiency test in math.

Or perhaps they’re brightened by the example of the D.C. public-school system, which also has among the highest per-pupil expenditures in the nation yet perennially returns among the lowest test scores.
Less than 25 percent of black 17-year-olds can read as well as the average white 17-year-old. Nearly 90 percent of black 17-year-olds score below the average white 17-year-old in math.
More than 90 percent of black 17-year-olds score below the average white 17-year-old in science.
The average black 17-year-old has the academic proficiency of the average white 8th grader.
These figures have proven impervious to increased spending.
In fact, in some cases the gap has widened as public school spending — in constant dollars — has increased.
But Democrats, beholden to unions, continue to oppose school choice and meaningful reform, thereby consigning another generation of blacks to educational purgatory. Affirmative Action.
Democrats are champions of racial preferences (see Eric Holder’s directive to the Dayton Police Department).
Since racial preferences in, e.g., college admissions most heavily favor blacks, it would appear, at first blush, that Black votes for Democrats are indeed self-interested.
But evidence continues to accumulate that affirmative action may be one of the greatest scams perpetrated on Blacks.

Studies by, for example, the Center for Equal Opportunity show that the racial preferences employed by some college admissions offices boost a Black applicant’s odds of admission over a similarly-situated white comparative by a factor of 200, often much more.

This results in what UCLA law professor Richard Sander calls the “mismatch effect” — i.e., Black students being admitted at schools in which they’re poorly qualified to compete.
Consequently, Black students are more likely to perform poorly and flunk out.

For example, Prof. Sander found that 50 percent of Black law students settle in the bottom 10 percent of their respective classes.
Black law students are two and a half times more likely than whites not to graduate, four times more likely not to pass the bar exam. Welfare and the War on Poverty.

Were this a shooting war, the Democrats would have surrendered in 1965.

As it stands, after 45 years and several trillion dollars, misguided if well-intended liberal policies have contributed to a toxic culture of grievance and dependency that, while not confined to a particular race, has been especially damaging to the Black underclass.

The list of issue conflicts between Democrats’ policy positions and the interests of black voters goes on and on: illegal immigration, abortion, Social Security reform, to name a few.
But don’t expect any noteworthy changes in Black voter allegiance in the near term.
A comment made by a Black law student after an affirmative-action debate in which I participated a few years ago illustrates just one of the many obstacles faced by Republicans.
The student acknowledged that affirmative action often harms its purported beneficiaries and that its proponents are, as he put it, “condescending and insulting.”

Even so, he asked. “How can we (blacks) support Republicans given the Republicans’ history toward blacks in this country?”

I pointed out that it wasn’t the GOP that had opposed Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation.

Nor was it Republicans who opposed the Thirteenth Amendment prohibiting slavery or the Fourteenth Amendment guaranteeing equal protection or the Fifteenth Amendment guaranteeing voting rights.

It wasn’t Republicans who opposed Teddy Roosevelt’s anti-lynching legislation, or that filibustered or otherwise opposed more than a dozen anti-lynching bills in the last century.

Republicans didn’t institutionalize Jim Crow or implement school segregation, poll taxes, or literacy tests. Bull Connor, Lester Maddox, Orval Faubus, and George Wallace weren’t Republicans.

* A higher percentage of Republicans voted for the 1964 Civil Rights Act and the 1965 Voting Rights Act than did Democrats.

The student and the other Black students gathered around looked surprised.

One confessed that she would’ve bet that “Democrats” should be substituted for “Republicans” in each of the examples.

The GOP’s record concerning Blacks is far from unassailable, but that doesn’t explain black allegiance to Democrats.

That allegiance won’t change — Allen West and Tim Scott notwithstanding — as long as President Obama is the Democrats’ standard bearer.

And as long as Republicans don’t make an effort for the vote.
