ROGER STONE ASKS WHY CRUZ HASN'T SUED OVER AFFAIR ALLEGATIONS? (TRUTH OR DARE)
ROGER STONE ASKS WHY CRUZ HASN'T SUED OVER AFFAIR ALLEGATIONS?
STONE SAYS IF ALLEGATIONS ARE LIES WHY NOT SUE??
WILL GOP ESTABLISHMENT BRASS STILL ENDORSE CRUZ?
Sources: Real Clear Politics, AM 970, Stefan Molyneaux, Youtube
Trump confidant Roger Stone spoke with Frank Morano on AM970 The Answer in New Jersey/New York on Sunday morning about allegations that he planted the story in this week's National Enquirer accusing Ted Cruz of multiple extra-marital affairs.
"He’s a lawyer himself," he said, "so why won’t he sue? It won’t cost him anything. To be absolutely clear — Cruz won’t sue because the allegations are largely true."
~ Basics:
-- "The Rubio campaign elected not to use this information, but they kept it as a hedge about some of the allegations about Rubio's personal life."
-- "Cruz holds himself out as a moral exemplar, and I think it is the hypocrisy that once again is problematic here. Where's his lawsuit? Where's his $100 million lawsuit against the National Enquirer..."
-- "This is very much like the John Edwards case, when the Washington Post, who is chasing this story, or the AP, who is chasing the story. The dirty little secret here is this isn't just the National Enquirer, this is major media organizations. Every major media organization in the country is pursuing this story. And they are well familiar with the names."
-- "And you have to wonder whether these women, one of whom worked for the Carly Fiorina campaign and then shortly thereafter Ted Cruz pays Carly half a million dollars. Ted despises Carly, and Carly despises Ted. What is the $500,000 for? Can you say hush money?"
-- "Maybe Donald Trump is talking about Heidi's mental breakdown, and the fact that she was found by the local police wandering and disoriented, and she was deemed to be a threat to herself."
-- "Heidi with her husband posing as a conservative Republican was a top aide to Condoleezza Rice at the National Security Council prior to going to the U.S. Trade Rep's office where she was a top aide for Robert Zelick, who took her to Goldman Sachs -- You remember who they are? The bank you and I bailed out.-- Goldman then subsequently gave a million dollar illegal sweetheart deal to the Cruz campaign, which he lied about."
FRANK MORANO: We have Roger Stone, noted New York Times bestselling author, longtime Republican political consultant and former advisor to Donald Trump, and the only person, who you heard Ted Cruz in the clip I just played you, the only person quoted on the record in this incredible National Enquirer article...
I don't know where to begin, clearly the Cruz campaign has blamed you for everything except for kidnapping the Lindbergh baby, why are? Everybody is acknowledging, even the NYT today, that this attempt to dig up these Cruz extramarital affairs was originally carried out by the Rubio campaign, why are they making you the guy everyone is deciding to blame?
ROGER STONE: I guess it is an attempt at deflection.
You've been in politics a long time, the only thing worse that being talked about is not being talked about. So I guess, I have a brand, perhaps a brand for rough and tumble politics, a brand for the dramatic, but in this particular case, the private detectives who are specifically cited in the article... were actually working for and paid by Marco Rubio.
I believe the Rubio campaign elected not to use this information, but they kept it as a hedge about some of the allegations about Rubio's personal life, and in the end they elected not to use it.
And before you knew it he was out of the race.
I think these private detectives got paid twice. They got paid once when they did the original work for Marco Rubio, and they got paid again when they on their own went ahead and sold it to the National Enquirer. They will admit that they pay for information they can confirm.
But in this case, I can tell you categorically, I did not plant the story in the National Enquirer, and then blaming Donald Trump or his campaign is somewhat outrageous. I never discussed this with Donald or anyone in his campaign.
All I did do, when a longtime reporter from the National Enquirer, who I used to know when she was at the New York Post, and before that at the UK Daily Mail, called and asked for a comment, and I was happy to give a comment on the record: "If this is proven, it would be highly problematic for Ted's image, since it is built around his moral superiority, and his appeal to evangelical Christians...
MORANO: Why should we care about who Ted Cruz sleeps with?
STONE: Neither you or I are running for president... And he is, and he holds himself out as a moral exemplar, and I think it is the hypocrisy that once again is problematic here.
Where's his lawsuit? Where's his $100 million lawsuit against the National Enquirer...
This is very much like the John Edwards case, when the Washington Post, who is chasing this story, or the AP, who is chasing the story. The dirty little secret here is this isn't just the National Enquirer, this is major media organizations. Every major media organization in the country is pursuing this story. And they are well familiar with the names.
And you have to wonder whether these women, one of whom worked for the Carly Fiorina campaign and then shortly thereafter Ted Cruz pays Carly half a million dollars. Ted despises Carly, and Carly despises Ted. What is the $500,000 for?
Can you say hush money?
He [Ted Cruz] specifically called me a henchman, henchmen get paid. I'm not paid anything by the Trump campaign, so therefore by definition I can't be a henchmen...
I think he's the one who has been copulating with rodents...
MORANO: Donald Trump did tweet "I'll spill the beans on your wife," do you understand where those people are coming from? Look, Roger Stone has a long history of this stuff, and this story comes out just a few days after Donald Trump tweets that pseudo threat against Heidi? I mean, some people might say that is too much of a coincidence?
STONE: The scandal doesn't have to do with Heidi.
Maybe Donald Trump is talking about Heidi's mental breakdown, and the fact that she was found by the local police wandering and disoriented, and she was deemed to be a threat to herself, maybe they're talking about they fact that Heidi with her husband posing as a conservative Republican was a top aide to Condoleezza Rice at the National Security Council prior to going to the U.S. Trade Rep's office where she was a top aide for Robert Zelick, who took her to Goldman Sachs -- You remember who they are? The bank you and I bailed out.-- Goldman then subsequently gave a million dollar illegal sweetheart deal to the Cruz campaign, which he lied about.
He said the infusion of cash to his campaign came from his wife cashing in his reitrement. That's a lie. All of that pretains to Heidi, none of this does, this pretains to Ted Cruz and his zipper.

RUBIO'S ALLIES LEAKED CRUZ'S ALLEGED ADULTEROUS AFFAIRS (NATIONAL ENQUIRER)
RUBIO'S ALLIES LEAKED CRUZ'S ALLEGED ADULTEROUS AFFAIRS (NATIONAL ENQUIRER):
REMEMBER THE JOHN EDWARDS AFFAIR STORY??
TED CRUZ KNOWS TRUMP DIDN'T EXPOSE HIM, RUBIO DID.
STORY OF CRUZ'S ALLEGED AFFAIRS PUBLISHED BY THE NATIONAL ENQUIRER.
Sources: National Enquirer, Salon.com, Western Journalism, Daily Beast, Youtube
But why would Rubio, with nothing left at stake, sponsor a smear campaign against the one GOPer who can stop Trump?
Maybe Donald Trump isn’t behind the Ted Cruz “sex scandal” story leak to the National Enquirer after all.
According to The Daily Beast, “for months and months, anti-Cruz operatives have pitched a variety of #CruzSexScandal stories to a host of prominent national publications.”
One such outlet was Breitbart News, which was shown “a compilation video of Cruz and a woman other than his wife coming out of the Capitol Grille restaurant and a hotel on Tuesdays and Thursdays,” a source inside the publication told The Daily Beast. (Leave it to a politician to keep a standardized booty call schedule.)
The Breibart source confirmed that they’d received the video from “a Rubio ally,” but ultimately decided against running the story because, “There was no way to verify the claims.”
Cruz today issued a statement more or less implying Trump and “his political henchmen” planted the Enquirer expose.

Herman Cain Endorses Newt Gingrich! It Doesn't Mean Anything

Cain endorses Gingrich
Atlanta businessman and former presidential candidate Herman Cain endorsed Newt Gingrich Saturday night at a West Palm Beach Country Republican gathering after two months of wavering on whether he would offer his support to a fellow candidate.
The endorsement comes just three days before the crucial Florida primary, by far the largest state to vote so far in the GOP sweepstakes, and could help Gingrich energize tea party support. Gingrich campaign has flagged since his upstart, double-digit victory over front-runner Mitt Romney in the South Carolina primary a week ago.
"I had it in my heart and mind a long time ago" to endorse Gingrich, Cain said in a surprise appearance at the dinner. "Speaker Gingrich is a patriot, Speaker Gingrich is not afraid of bold ideas, and I also know that Speaker Gingrich is ... going through this sausage grinder. I know what this sausage grinder is all about. I know that he's going through this sausage grinder because he cares about the future of the United States of America."
Cain's ended his presidential bid in early December amid claims of sexual harrassement by several women who worked for him over the years and amid a charge from an Atlanta woman that the two carried on a longstanding marital affair. Until the allegations surfaced, Cain had been steadily gaining ground as a serious primary contender, attracting hundreds of people to his campaign events and winning over tea party activists with his outsider's message and calls for a "9-9-9" flat tax plan.
Cain and Gingrich walked onto stage together to a huge round of applause from the audience, whose excitement continued throughout the former candidate's brief remarks. As Gingrich took the stage after him, he joked that when he accepted the invitation to speak at the West Palm Beach County GOP Lincoln Dinner, he "had no idea it would be this interesting."
Gingrich's campaign can only hope that the support of the once-popular candidate will give a shot of life to his campaign, which is beginning to falter in Florida after a series of rough debates and nonstop attacks from Romney and a super PAC supporting Romney. But Cain's support may have lost his luster after nearly two months out off the campaign trail.
Always unpredictable, Cain had suggested as recently as last week in South Carolina that he would not endorse one of the remaining Republicans in the field. "Here is my unconventional endorsement. Not a candidate seeking the nomination. Not someone that's not running. My unconventional endorsement is the people! We the people of this nation are still in charge," he said.

Sarah Palin & Glen Rice Hooked Up New Book Claims! Rice Confirms! Palin Is Silent

Sarah Palin had sex with basketball player, snorted cocaine and cheated on husband, book claims
Sarah Palin bedding a budding NBA star, snorting coke and cheating on the First Dude?
You betcha!
The scandalous details are revealed in the highly-anticipated tell-all "The Rogue: Searching for The Real Sarah Palin," written by best-selling author Joe McGinniss.
Palin bedded future pro hoops player Glen Rice while he was playing at the University of Michigan, the about the McGinniss book.
The sharp-shooting Rice - who spent one season with the Knicks - was playing in the annual "Great Alaska Shootout" while Palin was a sports reporter with Anchorage television station KTUU, the Enquirer said.
Their one-night stand over Thanksgiving weekend 1987 reportedly occurred in the dorm room of Palin's kid sister at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
Palin was described by a friend as the aggressor, with the pal reporting "she hauled his ass down," the Enquirer said.
Less than a year later, Palin was pregnant by husband Todd and the couple eloped.
The book also repeated allegations - denied in the past by Palin - that she had a six-month affair with her husband's business partner in the mid-'90s.
The dalliance put a chill on the Palin marriage, with Todd complaining to friends about the loss of intimacy in their relationship, the Enquirer reported.
McGinniss, the author of "Fatal Vision" and "The Selling of the President," rented the house next door to the Palins in Wasilla while researching the bombshell book.
His agent, David Larabell, declined to comment on the Enquirer excerpts.
"As this is an embargoed book I can't comment on the specificity of its contents," Larabell wrote in an e-mail.
"Also, I haven't seen the National Enquirer article. I don't know about this instance, but they often get these reports right."
The book also reports that Palin was once seen snorting cocaine off the top of a 55-gallon drum while snowmobiling with friends. She also smoked pot with a professor while at Mat-Su College, the book says.
And it quotes a Palin family friend as saying that husband Todd Palin also snorted coke, describing him as "on the end of the straw plenty."
The Enquirer quoted a publishing source about the explosive stories contained in the 320-page book, due in stores next week.
There was no immediate response from the Palin camp.

John Edwards Indicted On Felony Charges: Mistress "Hush Money"

Its Official Folks & Not A Moment Too Soon!
Today Former U.S. Senator & Presidential Hopeful John Edwards (D-NC) Was Indicted On FELONY Charges For Allegedly Illegally Using Campaign Finances As "Hush Money" For His Mistress, Rielle Hunter.
How Sad That A Man With Such A Promising Political Career Could Lose It All In One Swoop Simply For The Sake Of A Piece Of "Hot Tail"!
Yeah I Said It!
Edwards Had An Illict, Adulterous Fling Outside His Marriage With A Woman (Rielle Hunter) Who Possibly Carefully Calculated & Planned To Have An Adulterous Affair With John Edwards, Once A VERY Loyal, Married Man!
Am I Totally Blaming Edwards' Mistress Rielle Hunter For What Happened To John Edwards' Marriage?
No! Not Entirely However She Does Bare Some Blame.
Rielle Hunter Who Claims To Be A Professional Videographer, Knew Full Well John Edwards Was A VERY Married Man!
What Do I Mean By VERY Married?
Well Not All Married Men Are Committed & Loyal To Their Legally Wedded Wives.
Some Men Only Marry For Professional Or Political Reasons.
Especially If Their Wives Are From Wealthy Or Politically-Connected Families.
Nothing Wrong With Marrying A Good Woman From A Great Background, Except If AFTER His Wedding Ceremony The Husband Immediately Returns To Dalliances With Former Girlfriends Or Secretaries.
In Edwards' Case That Didn't Appear To Be The Norm.
Unless That Is It Was But Was Kept Hidden From The Public's Eye By Loyal Friends And Employees.
Is It Safe To Say That John Edwards, A Southern White Man Of Great Wealth & Prominence Living In North Carolina (Land Of "White Supremacy") Was Enabled By His Loyal Friends & Employees While Engaging In An Illict Affair?
YES!! A Thousand Times YES!
Is It Also Safe To Say If John Edwards Were A BLACK Man From North Carolina, Governor Bev Perdue Would Already Have His Head On A Platter For Such Behavior & Criminal Activity?
YES! A Thousand Times YES!
I Guess I Should Feel Sorry For Edwards But He Doesn't Deserve It.
Even If Rielle Did Intentionally Seduce Him (Not Saying She Actually Did Because I Don't Know), Edwards An Well-Educated Attorney & Politician, Should Have Known Better!
He Had A Devoted Wife Elizabeth (Deceased) & Wonderful Children At Home, Who Obviously LOVED Him Very Much!
What Piece Of "Hot Tail" Is Worth More Than A Man's Devoted Wife & Family??
Since He Created Mankind, Allow Me To Ask God Himself What Is It That Makes A Man OR Woman Throw Away Their Family & Career Just For A Sexual Fling? i.e,.Piece Of "Hot Tail"?
"I'm Married Not Blind" Is The Path Many Married Men & Women Take As An Excuse For Staring Too Long At Or Spending Too Much Time With Other Members Of The Opposite Sex.
Not Realizing The Longer They Stare Or The More Time They Spend With Other Members Of The Opposite Sex, They More Often Than Not Can Become Caught Up In Sexual Fantasy Land.
Unfortunately Many Married Men & Women Don't Realize What Has Happened Until AFTER The Damage Is Done.
(Remember Former South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford (R)?)
Marriages Ending In Divorce & Careers Destroyed!
In Edwards' Case He Even Lost His Beloved, Devoted, Faithful Wife Who Died NOT Just From Cancer But More So From A Broken Heart.
So Should I Feel Sorry For John Edwards'?
NO!! A Thousand Times NO!
I Only Pray He Repents Before God Almighty & Seek His Forgiveness.
I Only Pray His Children Are Able To Forgive Him.
But If Former U.S. Senator John Edwards Did Illegally Use Campaign Finance Funds To Hide & Hush An Illict Adulterous Affair With Rielle Hunter, (His Mistress) Then He SHOULD Pay To The Fullest Extent Of The Law!
As Mentioned Above Edwards, A Well-Educated White Attorney & Politician Knew EXACTLY What He Was Doing But He Kept Doing It Anyway, Sending Himself Deeper Into A Pit Of Entanglement.
Never Mind That He Hurt His Wife & Children Deeply.
He Kept Seeing This Woman Anyway.
Thus He SHOULD PAY!
If Edwards Seeks God's Forgiveness God WILL Forgive Him But He Still Needs To PAY Because Forgiveness Does NOT Eliminate Consequences.
To: Elizabeth Edwards; Rest In Peace.
To The Edwards' Children: God Bless!
Edwards Indicted in Campaign Fund Case
John Edwards, the former senator from North Carolina and presidential candidate, was indicted Friday morning by a grand jury in Raleigh on charges that he violated campaign finance law during his 2008 presidential campaign.
Mr. Edwards is scheduled to make his initial appearance in federal court in Winston-Salem, N.C., at 2:30 p.m. before Magistrate Judge Patrick Auld.
The grand jury, which has been investigating the case for two years, indicted Mr. Edwards on six counts — four involving illegal payments, one involving conspiracy and one involving false statements. “Mr. Edwards is alleged to have accepted more than $900,000 in an effort to conceal from the public facts that he believed would harm his candidacy,” Assistant Attorney General Lanny A. Breuer said in a statement. “As this indictment shows, we will not permit candidates for high office to abuse their special ability to access the coffers of their political supporters to circumvent our election laws.”
At issue are financial contributions that prosecutors say Mr. Edwards received in excess of federal limits, did not report properly and then misused for the political purpose of hiding his extramarital affair to save his candidacy. Mr. Edwards, 57, has maintained that he used the money to hide the affair, but for private purposes — to conceal it from his wife.
Mr. Edwards had a chance to reach a plea agreement and avoid the indictment, but he chose not to do so and will fight the charges, his lawyers said.
The decision to fight could lead to a long, messy, public trial and possible jail sentence for Mr. Edwards, or it could lead to his acquittal.
The decision to risk a trial reflects confidence by some on the Edwards legal team that the government’s case would not hold up in court.
“The government’s theory is wrong on the facts and wrong on the law,” Greg Craig, one of Mr. Edwards’s lawyers, said in a statement last week.
The decision also reflects the strong feeling by Mr. Edwards that no matter how much he has disgraced himself — by lying to his wife and to the country about an extramarital affair, which wrecked his marriage and ended his political career — _ he does not want to be seen as a felon or lose his law license.
“John Edwards has done wrong in his life — and he knows it better than anyone,” Mr. Craig said in his statement, “but he did not break the law.”

Michelle "Bombshell" McGee Apologizes To Sandra Bullock For Adultery

Michelle (Bombshell) McGee Offers An "Apology" To Sandra Bullock
Michelle (Bombshell) McGee has offered "a heartfelt apology" to the woman whose marriage she wrecked.
The tattooed model opened up to Australian TV show "TodayTonight" in a new interview in which she expresses her remorse for allegedly carrying on an 11-month affair with Sandra Bullock's husband, Jesse James, according to UsMagazine.com.
"I do feel guilty. I feel bad for Sandra," she said.
When asked what she would say to the Oscar-winning actress, McGee answered, "I'm sorry for your embarrassment. I'm sorry all this is public. I'm sorry for everything."
McGee, 32, also took swipes at James for claiming he was separated from Bullock when they first became intimate.
"I feel like I was duped just as much as Sandra was. I feel like I was lied to just as much as she was," she said. "If Jesse was upfront with me in the beginning, we wouldn't be in this situation."
Just one week after contacting him via MySpace, McGee met face-to-face with James at his West Coast Choppers shop where she claims to have slept with him "two or three times."
"I did know he was married to Sandra. When we were sitting on a couch watching a movie, he leaned over to kiss me, and I said, 'Slow down! What's going on between you and Sandra?'" she said. "He said, 'She lives in Austin, I live here. We're not together because she's filming a movie...' I believed him.... he said he didn't want to talk about it, I assumed because of legalities."
Though James reportedly sent her text messages every day, McGee said she didn't see much of him after their first two adulterous months together.
"I cared about him. My feelings were growing toward him," she said.
James, 40, checked himself into a treatment facility on March 26 "to deal with personal issues" in the hope of saving his five-year marriage, his rep said in a statement.
With Bullock still in seclusion since news of the alleged affair broke, McGee said she understands what the "Blind Side" actress, 45, is going through.
"She must be hurt, devastated, upset, embarrassed. I want to give her a heartfelt apology," she said. "I'm sorry for her embarrassment and pain. I do feel really bad about it."

Breaking sports news video. MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL highlights and more.
Its true Phil Mickelson came in first place @ the 2010 Augusta Masters 16-under par.
Mickelson is an awfully good player but he's not a Great Golfer like Tiger Woods.
Tiger tried to focus on his game but ghosts from his past repeatedly taunted him, thus he handed the championship over to Mickelson on a silver platter.
I pray Tiger will seek God for future guidance and that he bounces back in full force next year.

Tiger's Huge Comeback @ 2010 Augusta Masters! Whores Lose

Tiger Sits Back 2 Masters' Leaders
So much for competitive rust.
For the first time in 16 appearances at the Masters, Tiger Woods opened the tournament by breaking 70, shooting a 4-under 68 to trail 50-year-old Fred Couples by 2 shots.
It was Woods' first round of tournament golf in 144 days after a highly publicized sex scandal that caused him to take a leave from the game.
That absence caused many to wonder just how well he could perform at one of the most exacting courses in the world, Augusta National.
But Woods shot his tournament lows for the first round both on the front nine and overall, had two eagles in a round for the first time, and even pulled off a remarkable ninth-hole hook shot around trees to set up a birdie.
"Very pleased," Woods said of his first official round of golf since winning the Australian Masters on Nov. 15. "I hit the ball well all day. … For the most part, I think I hit the ball well all day. And I just didn't make a lot of putts. If I putted well today, it could have been a really special round."
Woods needed 31 putts and had several lip-outs, keeping his round from being even better. He hit 14 greens in regulation and missed just five fairways.
"To be surprised by a guy who won a U.S. Open on one leg … you kind of stop being a little bit surprised," said Matt Kuchar, who played in Woods' group, referencing the No. 1 player in the world's 2008 U.S. Open victory at Torrey Pines.
After admitting he was nervous about the reaction he would receive from spectators when he played his first practice round Monday, Woods received a warm, although not boisterous, ovation as he approached the first tee.
"The people were just incredible, incredible all day," he said.
Although there were no negative incidents on the course, there were two planes that flew overhead pulling banners that referenced Woods' off-the-course transgressions.
Woods said he did not notice them, but, when pressed, said he was not surprised.
"It wouldn't be the first time," Woods said.
Woods began the round by launching a drive into the middle of the fairway and making par. His first birdie came at the third hole, his first bogey at the seventh.
Then things got interesting. Woods made just his second eagle ever at the par-5 eighth -- the last came in the fourth round last year -- and hit an amazing hook around the trees to set up a birdie at the ninth.
The 33 was his lowest front-nine score in the first round in his Masters career, which is in its 16th year.
Woods bogeyed the 10th, then missed a good opportunity for a birdie at the 12th and barely missed an eagle putt at the 13th. A poor approach to the 14th led to a bogey, but Woods hit two perfect shots at the par-5 15th, setting up another eagle putt, a 10-footer that he drained to get to 4 under.
"I expected to go out there and shoot something under par today," Woods said. "After looking at the scores, guys were just tearing this place apart."
No doubt, Augusta National yielded plenty of low numbers on opening day. There were 31 players under par, 16 of them in the 60s.
Woods finished in a tie for seventh, trailing Couples by 2 strokes, and 1 shot behind 60-year-old Tom Watson, Lee Westwood, Phil Mickelson, Y.E. Yang and K.J. Choi. He is tied with Anthony Kim, Nick Watney, Ian Poulter and Ricky Barnes.
Asked whether he was surprised to see Woods' name on the leaderboard, British Open champion Stewart Cink chuckled.
"Boy have we gone a long way now," he said. "No, I'm not surprised."
"No surprise at all," Steve Stricker said. "I figured he would come out and play well, and he'll be around come Sunday afternoon, I'm sure."

"Did You Learn Anything?" Tiger Woods' New Nike Ad Featuring Earl Woods' Voice

Tiger Woods' Father Asks In Nike ad, "Did You Learn Anything?"
Tiger Woods - who brought along his mom when he apologized to the nation for his tomcatting ways - Wednesday night turned to his dead dad to polish his image.
On the eve of his return to competitive golf, Woods starred in an eerie new Nike ad invoking the haunting voice of his father.
The 30-second spot began airing last night on ESPN and the Golf Channel and is expected to be repeated Thursday as the girl-crazy golfer tees up for his first round at the Masters.
In the stark, black-and-white commercial, a camera zooms in on Woods' solemn face as he stands on a golf course wearing the famous Nike swoosh on his hat and dark pullover sweater vest.
Woods doesn't say a word in the ad, but in a voice-over his father, Earl, who died of prostate cancer in 2006, asks his troubled son, "Did you learn anything?"
While the ad does not specifically address Tiger's serial infidelity, it harkens to his marital woes in the tone of his father's deep husky voice from the grave.
"Tiger, I am more prone to be inquisitive, to promote discussion," Earl Woods says. "I wanna find out what your thinking was. I wanna find out what your feelings are, and, did you learn anything."
Nike officials said the ad will only run until 4 p.m. Wednesday.
"We support Tiger and his family. As he returns to competitive golf, the ad addresses his time away from the game using the powerful words of his father," Nike officials said in a statement.
It was not clear when the recording of Earl Woods was made or in what context.
The ad marks Woods' first return to the airwaves as a pitchman, albeit one missing the charismatic smile that once earned him multimillions from sponsors.
But it wasn't the first time he relied on his folks to help make him look more sympathetic.
His mom, Kutilda Woods, sat stoically in the audience and gave her son a big hug when he gave a teary mea culpa in February for cheating on his wife, Elin Nordegren.
The Nike commercial aired on a day Woods received an unprecedented verbal spanking from the boss of the Masters tourney for his "egregious" conduct.
Masters Chairman Billy Payne blasted Woods' behavior, even as a new tabloid report added a nubile neighbor to the golf great's parade of porn stars and party girls.
"It's not simply the degree of his conduct that is so egregious here," Payne said in his annual pre-Masters talk in Augusta. "Our hero did not live up to the expectations as a role model that we sought for our children."
Payne said Woods' golf game makes him "worthy" of being mentioned in the same breath as Jack Nicklaus or Arnold Palmer.
"But as he now says himself, he forgot in the process to remember that with fame and fortune comes responsibility, not invisibility," he said.
It was a stunning rebuke for Woods, who had been treated with kid gloves by Masters officials bent on getting golf's biggest moneymaker back on the links.
Woods took his medicine from Payne without a murmur.
Nor did Team Tiger respond to a National Enquirer report that Woods had a two-hour romp with 22-year-old neighbor Raychel Coudriet last May on a couch in his office - near a crib for one of the golfer's kids.
"I felt used and violated, like I meant nothing to him but a night of casual sex," Coudriet told her friend afterward, the tab says. "I just wanted to dig a big hole, crawl in and die."

Michael Jordan Caused Tiger Woods' Fall? Nonsense!

Don't blame Michael Jordan For Tiger's Fall
It's ridiculous to blame Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley for Tiger Woods' love of gambling, waitresses, Playmates and porn stars.
Long before there were commercials telling kids to "be like Mike," Las Vegas built a three-mile strip of luxury hotels specifically to house and entertain men who love gambling, waitresses, Playmates and porn stars.
Blaming Jordan and Barkley for Tiger's indiscretions is the equivalent of fingering the pair for the wetness of water.
It's silly, naive and dishonest.
And that's my impression of the long-winded Tiger Woods expose in the May issue of Vanity Fair Magazine.
Oh, it was fascinating, too. I devoured the whole thing and highly recommend that you pick up a copy. Just carry with you a heavy dose of skepticism when reading the perspective attributed to John Merchant, a self-proclaimed former Tiger advisor.
Merchant, 77, is the lawyer who points a finger at Jordan and Barkley for the demise of Tiger's squeaky image.
"I told (Tiger), 'Stay away from that son of a bitch (Jordan), because he doesn't have anything to offer to the f***ing world in which he lives except playing basketball, which he did yesterday,' " Merchant told Vanity Fair. "Are they (Jordan and Barkley) his black role models? You've got to be kidding me."
Merchant is black and apparently quite bitter about being cut out of the Tiger gravy train in 1996, shortly after Tiger signed his $40 million endorsement deal with Nike.
Using an unidentified source, the Vanity Fair story paints the picture that Merchant was discarded by Team Tiger because Merchant righteously insisted that $1 million of Nike's $40 million go to a minority golf initiative rather than Earl Woods, Tiger's father.
Merchant boldly claims that he could've steered Tiger clear of temptations of the flesh.
"I honestly believe, if I had been there these things would not have happened," Merchant is quoted as saying. "Why? Because I don't give a good goddam about Tiger's money. I care about Tiger the person, who has earned the right to be respected. Everybody he talks to has to protect their paycheck. I loved that boy. I watched him grow over the years. I watched him relate to his father. I see all of that destroyed."
OK, now we're getting to the heart of my problem with pinning Tiger's mess on Jordan and Barkley.
Tiger had a heavily involved father who passed away when Woods was 30. Pardon the cliche: apples don't fall far from trees.
Earl Woods left his first wife and three kids to build a new life with Tiger's mother. Earl Woods, according to this same Vanity Fair story, seemed to share Tiger's affinity for hot and loose women.
We're blaming Jordan and Barkley? What about Earl Woods?
No parent is perfect. Good parents make mistakes along the way. It's my belief that Earl Woods was a good father who made several critical mistakes along the way.
He crippled Tiger with expectations only Jesus could live up to.
"Tiger will do more than any other man in history to change the course of humanity," Earl Woods told Sports Illustrated at the beginning of Tiger's career.
No doubt, all of us in the media should've called bull(spit) on Earl's assertion at the time he said it. Some members of the media did. I'm ashamed I was not one of them.
Why didn't I? Part of me assumed Earl was just talking (spit). Another part of me wanted Tiger to be Jackie Robinson, Muhammad Ali and Joe Louis rolled into one. Important athletes make sportswriting important.
Tiger Woods as transcendent athlete is good for my line of work.
Looking back, we should not be surprised that Tiger lost himself in narcissistic sexual pleasure. His dad wanted him to be Jesus. Preachers' kids often rebel with sexual promiscuity, alcohol and drugs.
That's my fear. That Tiger's demons are worse than his appetite for easy women.
After his press conference in February, I wrote a column comparing Woods to Michael Jackson. No one blamed Elvis Presley or Quincy Jones for Jackson's fall from grace.
We blamed Joe Jackson, Michael's father.
Is there a difference between Joe Jackson and Earl Woods?
Both focused on raising entertainers more than human beings.

Sandra Bullock's Hubby A White Supremist? Is Sandra?...(WARNING)

Sandra Bullock's Husband's Neo-Nazi Friends
Jesse James' mistress did a sexy Nazi photo shoot and reportedly has White Power mementos on her skin and in her home. His ex-wife is married to a reported skinhead. How many neo-Nazis can you date without being one?
Michelle 'Bombshell' McGee denies being a white supremacist: Her sexy Nazi photo shoot was for fetishists, she says, and the W P tattooed on the backs of her thighs stands not for "white power" but the revolting-in-a-different-way.
She says, "Jesse and I had a conversation about it and he says a lot of his friends have the tattoo." (Is that an inside joke? That statement could use context, including an updated assessment on McGee's believability.
She has said she's Amish, as well as a third-generation French Canadian.
Is that even possible?) Suing for custody of their children, her ex-husband said she had "child block magnets on the refrigerator that spell out 'White Power'," and that her older son from a different relationship "is Jewish and she think it's funny that she makes the Nazi salute."
Then we have Jesse's ex-wife Janine Lindemulder, porn star and mother of his children. Her new husband is Jeremy Aikman, a multiple-time felon and reportedly "an admitted skinhead." Jesse and Sandra fought to revoke Lindemulder's custody, citing her marriage to Aikman as evidence of a negative environment for children. (Or, um, anyone.) So Jesse James has a degree of separation from these people—but why are there so many of them in the first place? How naive could he have been to his friends' racist and antisemitic ties and leanings?
Finally, Crushable notes concern over Jesse's West Coast Choppers logo resembling Germany's Iron Cross, which appears in Nazi memorabilia. (Albeit elsewhere, too.) Are we whipping ourselves into a paranoid frenzy, or is this guy uncomfortably close to the white supremacy movement? Way to harsh our racially harmonious Blind Side mellow, Jesse.

Jesse James Apologizes To Sandra Bullock, His Dark Side

Jesse James Apologizes To Sandra Bullock As Friends Reveal His Darker Side
Jesse James apologized to his wife Sandra Bullock and his children Thursday amid rumors that he was cheating on her for months with a fetish model.
James denied the “vast majority” of the "unfounded" rumors against him in a statement released to People magazine, but acknowledged that he was to blame for the situation.
“It’s because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way,” James,40, said. “"This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them. I am truly very sorry for the grief I have caused them. I hope one day they can find it in their hearts to forgive me."
The apology comes on the heels of a tough week for Bullock. Instead of traveling to England with her The Blind Side co-stars for a celebratory bash and the film's Brit premiere, the Oscar-winning actress is embroiled in a cheating scandal thanks to James.
Friends who have known the couple for years tell Fox 411 that the doting husband we've been seeing at awards shows is only one half of the man Sandra, 45, married in 2005.
"Jesse can be a very loving, protective and committed man. He cares about Sandra and would often feel like her personal protector, but he can turn on a dime on a person and be extremely angry and nasty if he is in a bad mood,” a source tells Fox411. “He has a strong temper. I've seen him yell at young girls in their twenties who were at events to talk to Sandra. He can swear and cut people down in an instant - it's very intimidating and threatening. He is scary when he lashes out at someone.”
In the face of his wife’s charmed year as Hollywood’s darling actress, James grew increasingly uncomfortable with her burgeoning fame.
"Jesse hates being in the public eye and it made him even more uncomfortable and easily upset,” the source said. “He refused to divulge a detail of his personal life and it seemed like it was because he wanted to keep Sandra out of excess limelight, but now it looks like practice for keeping his own life completely hidden and shuttered."
"When Sandra and Jesse were first married, they did everything together. He attended events and dinners with her and wanted to be by her side at all times. He would hang back quietly and keep to himself or investigate what she would have to do next and make sure he approved before she had to do it. He was VERY involved in her every move. Over the last two years, they've been apart more and the almost abnormal closeness they once shared had dissipated."
