Both Clinton and Sanders would beat any GOP candidate in the state in November, poll shows.
Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump have significant leads ahead of the primaries in their home state of New York next month, a poll released Thursday showed.
Mrs. Clinton, a former U.S. senator from New York, tops her Democratic rival, U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont, 54% to 42% among likely Democratic primary voters, according to the Quinnipiac University poll.
Mr. Trump, a Manhattan real-estate developer, leads with 56% among likely GOP primary voters, followed by Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas with 20% and Gov. John Kasich of Ohio with 19%, the poll showed.
“The home-court advantage helps both party’s front-runners in the presidential primaries in New York,” said Maurice Carroll, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll.
New York’s primaries will be held April 19.
Among Democrats, women favored Mrs. Clinton over Mr. Sanders, while white primary voters were divided with 48% for Mrs. Clinton and 47% for Mr. Sanders. Mrs. Clinton continues to dominate Mr. Sanders with black voters, beating him 66% to 31% in the state.
In the GOP, Mr. Trump holds double-digit leads among both genders.
The poll found both Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Sanders would beat any of the Republican candidates in the November general election.
Quinnipiac surveyed 693 likely Democratic primary voters and 457 likely GOP primary voters.
The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.7 percentage points on the Democratic side and plus or minus 4.6 percentage points on the Republican side.

Michelle Joann Fields is a very talented, ambitious journalist well-known within the Conservative Media community.
So why did she recently throw Donald Trump's campaign manager Corey Lewandowski under the bus by falsely claiming he assaulted her at a Trump rally when raw uncut video footage shows no clear signs of any assault?
Why did Michelle's story line change after the video footage was released?
Is the Florida Prosecutor (Aronberg) who chose to proceed with charging criminal charges against Corey a Clinton operative?
Has anyone made an offer to Michelle she can't refuse in exchange for helping to stop the Trump Political movement so he can't clinch the GOP nomination in July?
Stay tuned.
A few years ago, I was punched in the head three times at the British Press Awards in London.
My assailant was a man named Jeremy Clarkson, then presenter of global TV car show Top Gear.
He was severely intoxicated and very, very angry at a story about his personal life which had appeared in the newspaper I ran at the time.
The third flailing blow crashed into my temple, gouging a small hole from which blood flowed profusely.
At this point, I considered my options.
a) Hit him back.
b) Go home.
c) Call the police to press charges, then phone my lawyer to sue Clarkson.
If I’d gone for option c) then I suspect he’d have been convicted of assault and I’d have ended up with a truck load of cash too.
There were, after all, about 1000 witnesses, all of whom were journalists (which is why I didn’t hit him back..).
But I concluded that on balance, I probably deserved my pummelling and so instead, I stumbled outside and caught a taxi home.
(Clarkson, ironically, was fired from Top Gear last year for punching one of his producers in the head after he failed to provide him with hot food)
My point in retelling this anecdote is that journalism’s a rough old game, and the people – male and female - who choose it for a profession tend to be fairly rough too.
‘News,’ as the great press baron Lord Northcliffe once observed, ‘is something someone somewhere doesn’t want printed.’
Gathering news is thus a precarious pursuit which often requires reporters to work in very difficult, dangerous conditions.
This morning I woke in Los Angeles to breaking news that Donald Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski had been arrested and charged with ‘battery’ over an incident with a female reporter, Michelle Fields.
His alleged crime was to assault Ms Fields as she attempted to interview Trump when he walked away from a news conference in Florida.
Helpfully, the police issued new video of the ‘clash’, illustrating very clearly exactly what happened.
The footage lasts just a few seconds and shows Ms Fields displaying commendable bravura as she approaches Trump to fire questions at him.
Crucially, DailyMail.com has now established from a member of Trump’s Secret Service detail that in the process, she touched Trump twice and was warned by agents to stop.
Lewandowski, walking a few steps behind his boss, saw this happening (he may well have heard the warnings too) and raced forward to prevent her asking more questions and put himself between Trump and the reporter.
At this point, let’s forget the gender of the journalist.
In this glorious age of equality, it shouldn’t matter – right?
Battery is battery – regardless of the sex of the victim.
Lewandowski can be seen putting his arm up to block the journalist. In doing so, he also appears to grab her arm for less than a second as he moves on.
This is all rather different from what Ms Fields herself claimed had happened when she wrote about it for her then employer, Breitbart.com: ‘I was jolted backwards. Someone had grabbed me tightly by the arm and yanked me down. I almost fell to the ground but was able to maintain my balance. Nevertheless I was shaken. Campaign managers aren’t supposed to try to forcefully throw reporters to the ground.’
Oh puh-lease.
I’ve watched the video multiple times and cannot conceive any sensible interpretation that he is committing any kind of deliberate assault.
Part of Lewandowski’s job is to protect Trump from nosey journalists, and that’s exactly what he’s doing.
Fields, let me also be very clear, was also doing her job and if I were her editor, I’d congratulate her on getting so close to her prey, especially as repeatedly touching a presidential front-runner in public when he’s surrounded by Secret Service agents is a very risky thing to do.
But my fulsome praise would very rapidly be replaced by utter incredulity if she then informed me she was going to press charges against Lewandowski for battery.
Particularly given that battery, according to the law, means ‘intentionally touching someone without that person’s will’ – the very same thing we now know Fields did to Trump.
This doesn’t mean I take violence against women lightly. But there has to be some kind of harmful intent surely?
Lewandowski wasn’t trying to hurt Michelle Fields, he was trying to stop her getting to Donald Trump. If one of the Secret Service agents had done it, as they had every right to do given her behaviour, they’d have been applauded for doing their job.
Like every journalist I know, I’ve spent much of my career being pushed, shoved, elbowed and barged in crowded places when trying to get near famous people.
It goes with the territory.
Just as for that special breed of journalists who work in war zones, daily life can include dodging bullets, bombs and grenades.
Some of the toughest journalists in America are women.
Would Barbara Walters, Katie Couric or Diane Sawyer have pressed charges if they’d been in Ms Fields’ position?
Of course they wouldn’t.
They’d have all brushed off Lewandowski’s obstruction and chased back after Trump to try and fire more questions at him.
That’s what real reporters do. They don’t take no for an answer.
It’s hard therefore not to escape the sad conclusion that Ms Fields is hell-bent on having her 15 seconds of fame by turning a very innocuous incident into a national scandal to deliberately embarrass and damage a presidential candidate.
After I tweeted about this today, and had the audacity to suggest Ms Fields was being a big wuss, I was instantly bombarded with vicious abuse – notably from other high profile online journalists.
Olivia Nuzzi, a noisy feminist from the Daily Beast led the way with this simple entreaty: ‘Please go f**k yourself.’
Ben Shapiro, a whiny little brat who quit Breitbart over the way they supposedly failed to defend his colleague, was racist: ‘Go screw yourself you prissy sexist Brit.’
Whilst Simon Maloy, an aesthetically displeasing toad from Salon.com, preferred body-shaming me by saying I was a ‘dough-looking, can’t-tell-where-the-neck-stops-and-chin-starts fop.’
Whatever.
Like I said, journalism’s a rough old game. You dish it out, you have to take it.
But this debate boils down to this: if a male reporter cried ‘battery’ after such a trivial incident, he’d be an absolute laughing stock.
Why should a female reporter be taken any more seriously?
By making such a grotesque mountain of such a tiny molehill, Michelle Fields has embarrassed herself and let down her profession.
Toughen up, young lady – or choose a different job.

FAST & FURIOUS: BRIAN TERRY DISCOVERED GUNWALKING WAS FOR ISIL (BENGHAZI RELATED)
FAST & FURIOUS: BRIAN TERRY DISCOVERED GUNWALKING WAS FOR ISIL:
IS BENGHAZI RELATED TO FAST & FURIOUS AND BRIAN TERRY'S MURDER?
Sources: Alex Jones, Infowars, National Review, Youtube
Sources: Alex Jones, Infowars, National Review, Youtube
Who really murdered former US Marine and ATF Agent Brian Terry?
Was he murdered after accidentally learning that US Military firearms were being transported (walked) from the United States, through Mexico and then onto the Middle East to be given to ISIL members?
Was US Ambassador Christopher Stevens' murder at Benghazi linked to the Fast and Furious US GUNWALKING operation?
Investigation reveals arms shipments ongoing.
An expert researcher investigating the ATF’s Operation Fast and Furious gun walking scandal has discovered the operation is ongoing and is likely serving as a conduit for a global gun ring.
Speaking to radio host Alex Jones Tuesday, Lt. Col. Matt Smith-Meck, working on behalf of slain Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry’s family, revealed the botched operation transferred more weapons than initially suspected into the hands of Mexican cartels and possibly abroad.
“Not only is it guns and rifles, but also grenades, grenade launchers, military grade night vision goggles, black special forces tactical uniforms,” Smith-Meck stated, adding that the number of military items relinquished is “more in the magnitude of 4,700.”
Smith-Meck asserts weapons transfers into Mexico are ongoing to this day, and his research suggests the weapons may be resold to broader international networks outside the country.
“What I would speculate is – dovetailing on what Tosh Plumlee has been on your program before and talked about – this is, I think, part of a much larger international gun running operation,” Smith-Meck said.
Explaining the nexus between Fast and Furious and the Middle East, Smith-Meck claimed Mexican traffickers were already on record meeting with foreign purchasers in 2010, and weapons linked to the operation later showed up in Morocco.
“We know from accounts from folks that are actually involved in running these weapons, in September of 2010, weapons – separate from what we would call Fast and Furious – were run down to Mexico, down to a town in Mexico, Caborca actually, met with a international middle eastern arms dealer and en route over to the Middle East,” the retired US Marine said Tuesday.
“And I think of great import, is a Moroccon DST commander – their DST is their internal security forces on 16 October 2010, reported to his supervisors that Fast and Furious weapons were in the kingdom of Morocco en route to arm the rebels in Algeria.”
Smith-Meck was also informed that military equipment and installations were utilized during the operation.
“I was approached by a Col. Taylor – told me he was from OSI, Office of Special Investigations and that the military was aware of possible military installation and equipment involvement with Fast and Furious,” Smith-Meck stated.
According to his sources, Smith-Meck predicts yet another arms transfer to Mexico will occur towards the middle of May.
“We’ve got a mid-May of this year time frame where another large shipment is scheduled to go across from basically Arizona into Mexico, and we’re trying to make sure that does not occur,” Smith-Meck said, adding he had forwarded the information on to Rep. Trey Gowdy.
Additionally, Lt. Smith-Meck, who suspects Agent Terry may have been murdered for digging too deep into Fast and Furious, says he himself has been targeted for harassment.
The investigator says he filed a police report after a March 22, 2015 incident in which someone approached him around 10pm while he was walking his dogs, knocked him down, kicked him in his lower back and told him, “You obviously aren’t getting the message. Keep your Fing mouth shut.”
Smith-Meck declares he will continue searching for the truth behind Brian Terry’s death and is asking for Congress’ help to find answers.
To recap:
• Agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives from 2006 through 2010 convince straw dealers to sell weapons to suspected arms traffickers who may in turn sell them over to Mexican cartels, ostensibly to track the cartels.
• On December 14, 2010 while conducting operations in Nogales, Arizona, Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was shot and died while attempting to arrest five individuals. Two of the guns found at the scene were linked to Fast and Furious.
• Smith-Meck claims weapons were sold in Mexico to middle eastern arms dealers in September 2010. A Moroccon DST commander – on 16 October 2010 also reported Fast and Furious weapons were in the kingdom of Morocco en route to arm the rebels in Algeria.
• Smith-Meck asserts guns, rifles, grenades, grenade launchers, military grade night vision goggles, black special forces tactical uniforms, as well as military equipment and installations were involved.
• Lt. Col Smith-Meck’s research into Terry’s death has led him to suspect a wider weapons transfer scheme may be amidst.
• Smith-Meck predicts a mid-May arms transfer.
• The retired Marine has been target of harassment and intimidation since looking into the case.

**Did Brian Terry Die in Vain?**
**A call to Congress to find answers.****By: Andrew McKenna and Matthew Smith-Meck**Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was murdered on December 14, 2010, ten minutes before his shift ended, and the day before he was going to “blow the whistle” on the Fast and Furious gun-walking debacle. The bullets that ended his life were fired from a Fast and Furious weapon. Two months earlier, he was visiting his mother in Michigan. Brian, a principled and disciplined former Marine, rarely discussed his work with family. But this trip was different. Speaking with his mother Josephine recently, she told me that Brian acted differently during this visit. He was anxious. It seemed he had the weight of the world on his shoulders. Almost spontaneously over coffee one afternoon, he told his mother, “I just don’t want to go back this time … something bad is going to happen.”Operation Fast and Furious was initiated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) in 2009 ostensibly as a way to confront the problem of illegal weapons traveling from the United States to Mexican drug cartels. The ill-considered operational design involved allowing straw purchasers in the U.S. to buy weapons and deliver them into Mexico under the supervision of law enforcement. The weapons would be tracked by using serial numbers with the hope that future busts would lead U.S. officials to cartel members.Brian’s brother, Kent Terry, told us recently that following the killing, law enforcement officials were sympathetic, and most importantly, responsive to the Terry family’s concerns. After a memorial for Brian on January 22, 2011 in Tucson, Arizona, the family was invited to a hotel room full of government suits, including prosecutors and FBI agents. The purported purpose of the meeting was to allow Kent and his brother-in-law, Ron, to “ask any questions you might have” about Brian’s death. Rumors of guns being “walked” across the border to Mexico were already swirling. Ron, not one to mince words, immediately asked about the gun-walking. He told us, and Kent corroborated, that the room fell silent. The officials failed to make eye contact (except with each other). That single question effectively ended the meeting. Both Kent and Ron got the gut feeling that they were summoned there not to have their questions answered but as a fishing expedition. How much did Kent and Ron know? Had Brian confided in them about what he knew? Is this why the government, without notifying the family, went into Brian’s private residence after his murder, rifled through his personal effects and removed all electronic/digital devices and returning them, completely wiped clean, to the family a full year later?A couple hours later in the same hotel, the Terry family was approached my members of the union that represented Border Patrol personnel, including Brian. The union leadership expressed their condolences, but then very cryptically referred to 3 e-mails that they had received from Brian in the weeks preceding his murder. They wanted the Terrys to be aware of them, but said they weren’t allowed to discuss the content. However, it was obvious, based on the union representative’s tone and demeanor, they weren’t typical union communications, such as transfer requests or shift schedules, for example. On that final visit with his mother, Brian also told her that he was aggressively confronted by a couple of “bad” agents, and that he told them, “No need to talk to me; I’ll just walk away.” Law-enforcement communities are notorious rumor mills, and we suspect that word had somehow gotten around that Brian was going to speak up about weapons going south with BATFE’s permission, and expose, unbeknownst to Brian, the clandestine nature of Operation of Fast and Furious. We suspect this confrontation was borne out of concern to protect the architects and the players. Brian wasn’t part of the Fast and Furious Operation, but he had stopped vehicles attempting to enter Mexico that contained numerous AK-47 assault rifles. When he radioed the discovery to supervisors, the response was “Let ‘em through.” This troubled him.In January 2011, ATF agents John Dodson and Vince Cefalu “blew the whistle” on Fast and Furious after learning that the ballistic results showed that a Fast and Furious weapon was used to kill Brian. The House of Representatives’ Committee on Oversight and Government Reform (HOGR) launched an investigation into Fast and Furious. The Justice Department’s reluctance to cooperate was evident from the very beginning. A February 4, 2010 letter from an Assistant Attorney General to Senator Grassley, Ranking Minority Committee Member for the Judiciary, denied that straw purchased weapons were being deliberately sent over the border into Mexico. The Department did a full 180 degree turn almost a year later, officially retracting their earlier assurances, and admitting that the gun-walking operation was real.Congress decided to dig deeper, issuing subpoenas for any information including e-mails and other correspondence pertaining to Fast and Furious. After much wrangling and negotiation, the DOJ turned over information compiled prior to February 4th, the day when they claimed the operation didn’t allow for the transport of weapons. On May 3, 2012, Chairman Darrell Issa—presumably frustrated by the Department’s stone walling—issued the following points in a memorandum to fellow members of the committee he chaired:Some important areas remain cloaked in secrecy:1. How did the Justice Department finally come to the conclusion that Operation Fast and Furious was “fundamentally flawed?”2. What senior officials at the Department of Justice were told about or approved the controversial gun-walking tactics that were at the core of the operation’s strategy?3. How did inter-agency cooperation in a nationally designated Strike Force fail so miserably in Fast and Furious? These questions—four years later—still have not been answered. The Terry family and the American people deserve better. When the investigation began, members of Congress (House Oversight and Government Reform and Senator Grassley’s offices, specifically) and their staffs were very forth coming to the Terry family about the status of the investigation, answering questions and offering support. The Terrys have reported to us this, sadly, is no longer the case. At first the Terry Family truly believed the truth would come out concerning Brian’s murder, including both what reckless decisions about gun-walking were made and by whom within the Justice Department leadership made them. Now, with the knowledge that actionable information regarding “evidence to lay hands on” was provided to law enforcement, HOGR, and Senator Grassley’s offices in 2012 and 2013 without any meaningful responses, the Terry family is rightly distrustful and discouraged. On January 19, 2016, the Honorable Amy Berman, U.S. District Judge for the District of Columbia, issued an opinion ordering certain withheld documents regarding Fast and Furious be turned over to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. Perhaps this new material will reignite the investigative fire for members of Congress and lead to answers for the Terry family, the American people, and the institution of justice. For Brian Terry, the work of Congress has just begun.

CRUZ ENDORSED BY GOV SCOTT WALKER AFTER VOWING TO LET HILLARY WIN
CRUZ ENDORSED BY GOV SCOTT WALKER AFTER VOWING TO LET HILLARY WIN
Sources: CNN, MSNBC, Youtube
Tuesday night, March 29, 2016 during a Townhall meeting in Wisconsin with local voters, US Senator Ted Cruz (who was born in Canada) stated he would rescind his pledge to support Donald Trump if he is elected to become the GOP Presidential nominee.
Cruz stated he would instead rather let Hillary Clinton win than to support his fellow Republican candidate Donald Trump.
Despite Ted Cruz's position Wisconsin Gov Scott Walker still chose to publicly endorse Ted Cruz for the 2016 race.
I never thought I would see members of the GOP establishment implode their own political party.
All I can say is WOW!

From 2010 to 2012 the Obama Admin and key Democrat leaders allowed or ordered IRS employees to target Christians, Conservatives, Black-owned Businesses and Black Celebrities all for Politics as a means of silencing anyone who supported or considered supporting the GOP.
The GOP's only solution to stopping such harassment of US citizens was to Defund the IRS.
In 2016 it appears the Obama Admin and key Democrat leaders are now allowing or ordering US Postal employees to also target and harass Christians, Conservatives and anyone else who opposes Obama or Hillary.
Many people don't know that the US Postal Service actually falls under the Dept of Homeland Security.
So who chairs the Dept of Homeland Security?
Republican U.S. Senator Ron Johnson!
Is Senator Ron Johnson aware of such malfeasance at the hands of USPS employees against American citizens for the sake of Politics?
Does GOP leadership plan to hold a hearing of USPS brass on Capitol Hill as they did IRS brass?
Stay tuned.
Four current or former employees of a Hazelwood postal distribution center and the girlfriend of one of the men have been indicted in federal court here and accused of stealing electronics, drugs and other items from the mail.
The employees employed a process called “over-labeling,” where they created a new address label to replace the mail's existing label, then used that new label to direct the package to an address of their choosing, the indictment says. The ring targeted packages that they thought contained electronics, marijuana, clothing, pottery and “personal effects.”
In all, at least 33 packages were sent to seven addresses in St. Louis and St. Charles counties, the indictment claims.
Edward “Eddie” Lewis, 22, of Hazelwood; Sean West, 21, of the Florissant area; Quentin Cook, 22, of the Florissant area; Korey Howard, 23, of the Florissant area; and Che'yron Robinson, 22, of St. Charles, were all indicted Wednesday on a conspiracy charge. Their home addresses were not immediately available Tuesday.
Lewis and Howard also face charges of possession of stolen mail and West, Howard and Lewis face at least one charge of obstruction of correspondence.
Howard and West were so-called “Christmas casual” employees, and worked at the Hazelwood facility from November 2014 to January, the indictment says.
The investigation showed that a week after starting work, both opened mail that was on a delivery truck they were supposed to unload, according to the indictment.
Both are now unemployed.
Cook is a current employee, earning $2,000 per month, court documents say. Lewis worked for the postal service from May 2013 to March of 2014. Robinson is West's girlfriend.
West, Howard and Cook have been arrested and were scheduled to be in court Tuesday to plead not guilty. Their lawyers could not be immediately reached for comment.

Atlanta City Council invites NBA to move All-Star weekend
Resolution points to passage of North Carolina’s House Bill 2 as reason to move
NBA still hopeful N.C. can work through ‘differences’
The Atlanta City Council is asking the NBA to move the 2017 All-Star Game from Charlotte to Atlanta after the North Carolina General Assembly passed House Bill 2, repealing portions of Charlotte’s nondiscrimination ordinance.
During a committee hearing Tuesday, the resolution was introduced in Atlanta. It invites the NBA to consider relocating the 2017 NBA All-Star Weekend “due to the passage of House Bill 2, a measure that discriminates against members of the LGBT community.”
The NBA says they are still hopeful Charlotte and North Carolina come to an agreement.
“We appreciate the invitation but are hopeful that the city of Charlotte and the state of North Carolina can work through their differences far in advance of the 2017 All-Star Game,” NBA spokesman Mike Bass said about the proposal.
The day after the bill was signed, the National Basketball Association speculated that the bill might affect the Queen City’s hosting the 2017 All-Star Game. It’s scheduled for Feb. 17.
“The NBA is dedicated to creating an inclusive environment for all who attend our games and events,” the organization said in a release via Twitter after House Bill 2 was passed.
“We are deeply concerned that this discriminatory law runs counter to our guiding principles of equality and mutual respect and do not yet know what impact it will have on our ability to successfully host the 2017 All-Star Game in Charlotte,” the statement continued.
Charlotte won the bid to host the All-Star Game in June 2015. One month later, the city formally committed to spending $600,000 in general tax dollars to host the event. The total incentive package for the All-Star Game is about $5.9 million, according to WBTV’s news partner The Charlotte Observer.
“The City of Atlanta draws strength from our diverse community,” said Atlanta Council President Ceasar Mitchell. “This unity creates our city’s embracing spirit, a quality that has made Atlanta the destination of choice for numerous international business conventions, professional and college sporting events, as well as one of the largest concentrations
“Atlanta is a vibrant, energetic city that would be an outstanding host to the 2017 NBA All-Star Weekend,” chairman Andre Dickens said. “As the home to the civil and human rights movement, our diverse set of people and businesses welcome this global event with open arms.”
Charlotte’s nondiscrimination ordinance passed in February by a 7-4 vote from the Charlotte City Council. It broadly defined how businesses should treat gay, lesbian and transgender customers. The debate, as in other cities recently, focused on bathrooms.
After its passage, several high ranking North Carolina Republicans, including McCrory, voiced concerns about people having the ability to choose public restrooms corresponding to their gender identity.
McCrory signed the state bill repealing parts of the ordinance into law Wednesday night. Lawmakers passed the bill in a special session and the governor signed it within one day.

ROGER STONE ASKS WHY CRUZ HASN'T SUED OVER AFFAIR ALLEGATIONS? (TRUTH OR DARE)
ROGER STONE ASKS WHY CRUZ HASN'T SUED OVER AFFAIR ALLEGATIONS?
STONE SAYS IF ALLEGATIONS ARE LIES WHY NOT SUE??
WILL GOP ESTABLISHMENT BRASS STILL ENDORSE CRUZ?
Sources: Real Clear Politics, AM 970, Stefan Molyneaux, Youtube
Trump confidant Roger Stone spoke with Frank Morano on AM970 The Answer in New Jersey/New York on Sunday morning about allegations that he planted the story in this week's National Enquirer accusing Ted Cruz of multiple extra-marital affairs.
"He’s a lawyer himself," he said, "so why won’t he sue? It won’t cost him anything. To be absolutely clear — Cruz won’t sue because the allegations are largely true."
~ Basics:
-- "The Rubio campaign elected not to use this information, but they kept it as a hedge about some of the allegations about Rubio's personal life."
-- "Cruz holds himself out as a moral exemplar, and I think it is the hypocrisy that once again is problematic here. Where's his lawsuit? Where's his $100 million lawsuit against the National Enquirer..."
-- "This is very much like the John Edwards case, when the Washington Post, who is chasing this story, or the AP, who is chasing the story. The dirty little secret here is this isn't just the National Enquirer, this is major media organizations. Every major media organization in the country is pursuing this story. And they are well familiar with the names."
-- "And you have to wonder whether these women, one of whom worked for the Carly Fiorina campaign and then shortly thereafter Ted Cruz pays Carly half a million dollars. Ted despises Carly, and Carly despises Ted. What is the $500,000 for? Can you say hush money?"
-- "Maybe Donald Trump is talking about Heidi's mental breakdown, and the fact that she was found by the local police wandering and disoriented, and she was deemed to be a threat to herself."
-- "Heidi with her husband posing as a conservative Republican was a top aide to Condoleezza Rice at the National Security Council prior to going to the U.S. Trade Rep's office where she was a top aide for Robert Zelick, who took her to Goldman Sachs -- You remember who they are? The bank you and I bailed out.-- Goldman then subsequently gave a million dollar illegal sweetheart deal to the Cruz campaign, which he lied about."
FRANK MORANO: We have Roger Stone, noted New York Times bestselling author, longtime Republican political consultant and former advisor to Donald Trump, and the only person, who you heard Ted Cruz in the clip I just played you, the only person quoted on the record in this incredible National Enquirer article...
I don't know where to begin, clearly the Cruz campaign has blamed you for everything except for kidnapping the Lindbergh baby, why are? Everybody is acknowledging, even the NYT today, that this attempt to dig up these Cruz extramarital affairs was originally carried out by the Rubio campaign, why are they making you the guy everyone is deciding to blame?
ROGER STONE: I guess it is an attempt at deflection.
You've been in politics a long time, the only thing worse that being talked about is not being talked about. So I guess, I have a brand, perhaps a brand for rough and tumble politics, a brand for the dramatic, but in this particular case, the private detectives who are specifically cited in the article... were actually working for and paid by Marco Rubio.
I believe the Rubio campaign elected not to use this information, but they kept it as a hedge about some of the allegations about Rubio's personal life, and in the end they elected not to use it.
And before you knew it he was out of the race.
I think these private detectives got paid twice. They got paid once when they did the original work for Marco Rubio, and they got paid again when they on their own went ahead and sold it to the National Enquirer. They will admit that they pay for information they can confirm.
But in this case, I can tell you categorically, I did not plant the story in the National Enquirer, and then blaming Donald Trump or his campaign is somewhat outrageous. I never discussed this with Donald or anyone in his campaign.
All I did do, when a longtime reporter from the National Enquirer, who I used to know when she was at the New York Post, and before that at the UK Daily Mail, called and asked for a comment, and I was happy to give a comment on the record: "If this is proven, it would be highly problematic for Ted's image, since it is built around his moral superiority, and his appeal to evangelical Christians...
MORANO: Why should we care about who Ted Cruz sleeps with?
STONE: Neither you or I are running for president... And he is, and he holds himself out as a moral exemplar, and I think it is the hypocrisy that once again is problematic here.
Where's his lawsuit? Where's his $100 million lawsuit against the National Enquirer...
This is very much like the John Edwards case, when the Washington Post, who is chasing this story, or the AP, who is chasing the story. The dirty little secret here is this isn't just the National Enquirer, this is major media organizations. Every major media organization in the country is pursuing this story. And they are well familiar with the names.
And you have to wonder whether these women, one of whom worked for the Carly Fiorina campaign and then shortly thereafter Ted Cruz pays Carly half a million dollars. Ted despises Carly, and Carly despises Ted. What is the $500,000 for?
Can you say hush money?
He [Ted Cruz] specifically called me a henchman, henchmen get paid. I'm not paid anything by the Trump campaign, so therefore by definition I can't be a henchmen...
I think he's the one who has been copulating with rodents...
MORANO: Donald Trump did tweet "I'll spill the beans on your wife," do you understand where those people are coming from? Look, Roger Stone has a long history of this stuff, and this story comes out just a few days after Donald Trump tweets that pseudo threat against Heidi? I mean, some people might say that is too much of a coincidence?
STONE: The scandal doesn't have to do with Heidi.
Maybe Donald Trump is talking about Heidi's mental breakdown, and the fact that she was found by the local police wandering and disoriented, and she was deemed to be a threat to herself, maybe they're talking about they fact that Heidi with her husband posing as a conservative Republican was a top aide to Condoleezza Rice at the National Security Council prior to going to the U.S. Trade Rep's office where she was a top aide for Robert Zelick, who took her to Goldman Sachs -- You remember who they are? The bank you and I bailed out.-- Goldman then subsequently gave a million dollar illegal sweetheart deal to the Cruz campaign, which he lied about.
He said the infusion of cash to his campaign came from his wife cashing in his reitrement. That's a lie. All of that pretains to Heidi, none of this does, this pretains to Ted Cruz and his zipper.
