Bum Rap: Woman Who Injected Silicone Into Buttocks Of Strippers Nationwide Pleads To Federal Felony Charge


A Georgia woman who traveled the country administering silicone buttocks injections to female clients--including many strippers--pleaded guilty today to a federal felony charge stemming from her illegal business.

During an appearance in U.S. District Court in Baltimore, Kimberly Smedley copped to a conspiracy charge. A criminal information filed this month alleged that Smedley, 45, “traveled frequently” to Baltimore, Washington, D.C., Detroit, Philadelphia, and New York City to inject silicone “into the buttocks of customers for larger and fuller buttocks in exchange for money.”

Smedley faces a maximum five-year prison term when sentenced in mid-July. A plea agreement indicates that federal prosecutors will seek a $250,000 fine, in addition to about $8000 in restitution (that Smedley has agreed to pay).

Pictured above, Smedley is not a licensed medical practitioner. She also falsely represented to customers that the silicone she injected (which was stored in a plastic water jug) was medical grade. Instead, prosecutors disclosed, she used a substance intended for “metal or plastic lubrication, as an additive for paint and coatings, and furniture or automotive polishes.”

Food and Drug Administration agents determined that Smedley ordered “over 4920 pounds” of the substance “from one manufacturer alone” since 2003.

Smedley was arrested last year at a Washington hotel, where she was apparently preparing to see clients.

Federal agents began investigating her months earlier after an exotic dancer from Baltimore became seriously ill and was hospitalized following silicone treatments by Smedley.

As part of her plea deal, Smedley acknowledged illegally administering silicone injections over an eight-year period ending late last year. She operated out of hotel rooms, where she used “super glue with cotton balls to cover the point of injection in an effort to prevent the silicone from leaking out,” according to a court filing. Smedley admitted charging between “$500 and $1600, always in cash, for each session where she typically injected silicone in 9 places on each side of the buttocks.”

Smedley was the subject of a March 2008 New York Post story that quoted her saying her injections were “illegal here but legal in Mexico.” She also acknowledged, “I’m not a doctor and I’m not a nurse.”


'Black Madam' gave illegal butt injections, used Krazy Glue, say Pa. cops

A judge has ordered a Philadelphia woman dubbed the 'Black Madam' to stand trial for allegedly performing illegal cosmetic surgeries, including buttocks enhancement procedures using silicone from Thailand and Krazy Glue.

Padge Windslowe, 42, is charged with aggravated assault, practicing medicine without a license and theft by deception.

At a preliminary hearing Wednesday, an exotic dancer named Shurkia King testified that she suffered severe respiratory problems and spent two weeks in the hospital after a "pumping party" for which Windslowe charged $1,000 per session and performed injections on a dining table.

A doctor testified that he found silicone particles on King's lungs that could have killed her.

Police also believe Windslowe injected 20-year-old Claudia Aderotimi, who died after a pumping party at a Philadelphia airport hotel last year. Aderotimi complained of chest pain and difficulty breathing following the procedure. No charges have been filed in that case as detectives await extensive autopsy test results.

King, 23, said she learned about the Black Madam through fellow dancers and thought Windslowe was a certified nurse. After the first pumping party went well on New Year's Eve, King said she went back for more in February.

One of the injections seemed to go in wrong and left her leg shaking, but Windslowe told her to just breathe and that everything is OK, King said.

King's oxygen level was "dangerously low" when she arrived at a hospital two days later, a doctor testified. She spent about a week in intensive care and used an oxygen tank to breathe until she returned to work, the doctor and King both testified.

Dr. Arka Banerjee of Lankenau Medical Center testified that the silicone particles attached to King's lungs were diffused and too small to remove surgically. On cross-examination, the doctor acknowledged that medical records show King to be a daily smoker and marijuana user.

Philadelphia police believe Windslowe performed at least 14 cosmetic surgeries, moving locations to avoid detection. She remains in jail on $750,000 bail.



Accused Florida Butt Injector Appears To Have Tried Her Own Product

The Transgender Florida Woman arrested yesterday for giving illegal buttocks injections--using a mixture of cement, super glue, mineral oil, and “Fix-a-Flat” sealant--appears to have tasted her own product.

Charged with practicing medicine without a license, Oneal Ron Morris, 30, posed for the above full-body booking photos (click each to enlarge), which seem to show her rear has been artificially enhanced (is there a better way to advertise your services?).

Morris was nabbed in connection with her treatment earlier this year of a client who was subsequently hospitalized due to the enhancement procedure (the injection site was sealed with super glue).

Morris is jailed in lieu of $7500 bond.

Lark Voorhies, who played the spoiled student on “Saved by the Bell” from 1989 to 1993, has fans all atwitter over her drastic new appearance.

The 38-year-old actress looked barely recognizable during a recent interview with Yahoo!’s “The Yo Show,” in which she wore a different hairstyle and heavily-applied makeup over a puffy face.

During the chat, Voorhies admitted she would be open to the possibility of an onscreen reunion with her former cast mates Mark Paul Gosselaar, Mario Lopez, Elizabeth Berkley, Tiffani Thiessen and Dustin Diamond.

“I really honestly believe if it did happen it wouldn't be a bad thing ,” the actress and producer said. “We tend to circumvent and come around to this topic quite often, so I think the buzz might catch.”

As for the rumors that she once dated Gosselaar?

"No, we were all that close," Voorhies said. "We just had a great chemistry and it registers very powerfully (on-screen)."

Nowadays, the former teen star said she has been "very busy” with her new company, Yo Soy Productions. In September, she will appear in an episode of VH1's new reality show “Miss You Much,” in which viewers are updated on what their favorite TV, movie and music stars are up to now.

Heidi Montag Calls Cops -- My Mom Is "Psychotic"


Cops have just arrived to Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag's L.A. area home after the couple called police claiming Heidi's mother is refusing to leave their property, law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

We just spoke with Heidi, who tells us, "My mom [Darlene Egelhoff] just showed up to the house unannounced ... and after what she did to me on national TV, I have no desire to see her."

Heidi's referring to a recent episode of "The Hills" in which Darlene told Heidi she did not approve of her plastic surgery. On this week's episode, Spencer claimed Darlene "tried to rape [Heidi] emotionally".

Heidi tells us she immediately notified her personal security team when her mom showed up "pounding on the door."

Heidi claims Darlene is currently speaking with police.

Montag continues, "Her showing up is completely out of line and psychotic. I’m getting a restraining order against her."

So far, no arrests have been made.

UPDATE: Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Heidi's mom has finally left the property.

Did Tiger Woods Have Plastic Surgery After Fight With Elin? (Reports)

Tiger Woods' Plastic Surgery, Escape To Arizona, And Much More, Letter Claims


Furman Bisher, a retired sportswriter who used to pen a column for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, posted a letter on his blog that -- if true -- provides in-depth background on the events that led to Tiger Woods' post-Thanksgiving car crash.

The letter, which Bisher says is from "a trustworthy journalist I have known for years," is written by someone who claims to have sources in Woods' neighborhood and at his talent agency, IMG.

According to the letter, Woods' wife Elin Nordegren confronted him on Thanksgiving night after she discovered "incriminating evidence," including but not limited to a text message, on his phone.

Woods refused to admit to anything, and shortly thereafter Nordegren attacked him with a 9-iron golf club. The strike caused "a huge gash in the right side of his face... virtually knocking two of his upper teeth out." Woods fled the scene and attempted to leave the property in his Escalade, but his wife smashed the windows before he crashed the vehicle.

Perhaps the most interesting part of the letter is its claim that Woods never went home after being released from the hospital. Instead, he and his agent Mark Steinberg flew in his private jet to Phoenix to receive emergency plastic surgery and cosmetic dentistry since there was "not much [the Florida doctors could] do to repair the teeth and the gash." This would explain why Woods never spoke with police following the accident, and also traces the golfer to Arizona, where he is rumored to be attending rehab. A previous report claiming he sought treatment for "sexual compulsion" and Vicodin and Ambien use also linked him to Arizona.

The letter also says that while his wife has retained a divorce attorney, she has "no intention" of divorcing her husband. The author writes that the pair is engaged in "intense marriage counseling sessions of up to 6 to 7 hours a day." Read the full letter for more details.




Furman Bisher: Updated Inside Story on Tiger Woods



The following is a legitimate message I received from a trustworthy journalist I have known for years. It’s the Tiger-Elin incident finally put into reliable form, and I send along for no purpose other than to present the picture in its clearest form. —Furman Bisher

Forwarded story:

I have a Member who lives 10 houses down from Tiger in Isleworth. As we know Tiger’s agent is Mark Steinberg. My Member plays golf and is real good friends with another IMG Agent; who is very good friends with Steinberg and they share the same office. This information came from the other IMG Agent to my Member, and then to me today, and according to them is up to date as yesterday when my Member left Orlando.

On Thanksgiving Day, after he and Elin and the family had turkey dinner, he spent the rest of the afternoon on the couch watching football and texting Rachel. After each received and sent text message he would clear his message box to rid himself of the evidence. Sometime in between there, one of his Orlando buds called him to see if he wanted to get together at the Clubhouse to play poker with the guys, to which Tiger said yes. Tiger left the house around 7:30 to go play poker, and left behind his cell phone….and one message he had forgot to delete from Rachel.

When Tiger returned home around 11:30 -12 that night, Elin confronted him about the text message in the phone, and the started a heated discussion to its regards. According to what I was told, there was more “incriminating evidence” than just the text message (i.e. photos). Tiger tried to play it off to Elin by telling her she was reading too much in to it, and did not know the story, etc. Tiger went upstairs to change into his gym shorts and t – shirt, came back down, and Elin confronted him again; to which Tiger gave the same story. Tiger sat down in a chair in the living room, and Elin sat across from him urging Tiger to just come clean. Tiger stayed to his guns and denied everything.

At one point Tiger turned away to look at the TV, and as he turned back, Elin hit him on the right side of the face with the head of a 9 – iron. When she struck Tiger, she put a huge gash in the right side of his face next to his nose (causing his nose to bruise some), and virtually knocking two of his upper teeth out, and breaking the bone on the upper right side.

Tiger ran scared as hell out of the house (which is why he had on no shoes) with Elin swinging the golf club throughout the hallway to the garage (i.e. causing the severe damage which has been reported). Tiger hoped in the Escalade and tried to leave; and as we know Elin knocked out the windows in the Escalade. When Tiger crashed, Elin panicked and was not sure what to tell the police (which is why there are two conflicting stories from her). When this happened, Elin immediately called Mark Steinberg to tell him what happened, and Mark told Elin to tell him what hospital they were going to, and he would meet them there.

Tiger is transported to the hospital with Elin in the ambulance, and as they arrive Mark is there waiting for them. The people from the hospital and the doctors take Tiger in for X-Rays etc to check out the damage caused. The doctors tell Mark there is not much they can do to repair the teeth and the gash, but the doctor knows a cosmetic dentist and plastic surgeon in Phoenix who will make Tiger look as if nothing happened. Tiger tells Mark to get the jet ready and let’s head to Phoenix to get this done. Friday after Tiger is released from the hospital, he does not return home; he and Mark board the plane for Phoenix.

If you remember FHP kept showing up at Isleworth to talk to Tiger, and was told by another FL attorney (who Tiger hired for PR reasons) Tiger was not ready to talk. Well now we know why, he was in Phoenix, and did not arrive back in Orlando until either late last Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.

The surgeries were more intense than what they had originally planned, which meant Tiger was in PHX longer than he should have been. Upon arriving back in Orlando, Tiger and Elin have been in intense marriage counseling sessions (up to 6 to 7 hours a day) every day! Both Tiger and Elin have told the counselors they love each other, and want to make the marriage work. The reports you are reading on TMZ and RadarOnline are about 30% accurate at best according to Mark.

In regards to Tiger’s boat being in Palm Beach this week, along with Rachel; that part is true. However, Tiger is not on the boat, and is not in Palm Beach; and Rachel is not on the boat. Her parents live 6 blocks from where the boat is, but that is it. Tiger has not returned to his house at Isleworth since the day of the accident except for the therapy sessions.

IMG has enlisted the assistance of one of its most recognized sports figures, and Tiger has taken up residence in his neighborhood, Bay Hill. IMG contacted Arnold Palmer because of the high regard in which Tiger holds Arnold. Arnold has agreed, and IMG has said if anyone can get through to Tiger, Arnold may be the only person who can, based on his public persona when he was at the height of his game as well. The moving trucks being shown on TMZ and RadarOnline are moving out pictures and furniture which was damaged during their Thanksgiving Day argument; not of her moving out.

Yes, Elin has retained a divorce attorney, but has not filed any papers, and as of yesterday had no intention on doing so. Tiger has not made any public appearances or statements due to the surgery and plastic surgery he had in PHX. It will be about another month if not more before he gets in front of a camera. Yes, Tiger is hitting golf balls late at night at Bay Hill out of their teaching center (which is equipped with lights).
