Richard Burr & Elaine Marshall Debate Again Tonight: Burr Won 1st
NC Candidates For US Senate To Meet Again For Debate
North Carolina’s candidates for U.S. Senate are meeting for another televised debate, and this time it will include the state’s third-party candidate.
Republican Sen. Richard Burr, Democratic hopeful Elaine Marshall and Libertarian candidate Mike Beitler will face off Wednesday night in Raleigh. The event is hosted by WNCN-TV and the League of Women Voters of North Carolina.
Burr and Marshall debated on Monday, laying out competing visions for how to rebuild the nation’s economy. Beitler was not invited to that event because surveys failed to show him with at least 10 percent support.
The debate will include questions directly from voters.
