Thursday afternoon during a pre-debate appearance at the University of Miami, Florida gov RICK SCOTT briefly commented on the political future of U.S. Senator & 2016 GOP Presidential candidate MARCO RUBIO.

Gov. Rick Scott jumped into the media scrum before the Republican presidential primary debate Thursday. He said the path to success for a candidate is “jobs, jobs and more jobs.’’
The governor repeated the words “jobs’’ throughout his answers for 10 minutes. “That’s how I won in 2010,’’ he said.
Scott, a Republican, said he won’t endorse a candidate and won’t reveal how he’ll vote.
“We have secret ballots in Florida,’’ he told a reporter who pressed him.
Scott said he hasn’t decided whether he’ll endorse after Florida’s presidential preference primary. But he said he knows the best candidate for the job is “the Republican one.’’
He said when he ran for governor, he was an “outsider’’ and “businessman’’ whose opponent had all the endorsements.

Asked whether he thought Sen. Marco Rubio should drop out if he loses in Florida, Scott said Rubio is “smart’’ and can make the decision himself.
